If I wanted to sit around watching artificial creations blaring out-dated music I'd turn on MTV.

Shows the last time you actually watched MTV; they haven't shown music videos for over a decade.

Having been to both Disneyland and Disney World, for old school Disney Disneyland is better. I went to Disney World the year it opened when I was five (and quite a few times afterwards since I have family in the area), and when I went to Disneyland last year it brought back every little kid memory because it had the original Tiki Birds and Mr. Toad and the unDeppified Pirates of the Caribbean. However, both Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion were closed, dammit.

/hope they didn't mess with Big Al in the new Bears show

By far my favorite ride. The hitchhikers at the end have been updated with some pretty cool new tech.

I have been to Disney Tokyo, Disney Hong Kong and Walt Disney World all in the past month. WDW is the best now. Shanghai will be soon.

"...Walt Disney, the company's founder."

Dear god, I'm old. I had no idea I lived in a time when people didn't know who founded the Disney empire.

Two of the best rides, by far. The updated Mansion's attic is a big improvement, and of course Space Mountain continues to be 70s space awesome. I go every year, and its amazing to see people still excited to ride what is essentially a small roller coaster in the dark.

Um, yeah, the Disneyland Pirates has Captain Sparrow as well. Sorry, but that was actually a good update.

Bring back 20,000 leagues under the sea.

Was just in Disney on Wednesday but didn't know this had re-opened. Also skipped the Tiki Room because I assumed it was still the terrible "Under New Management" version.

I DID get a sneak peek at the new Under the Sea ride which isn't scheduled to open until December

WDW includes Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, as well. So no, WDW will always be THE Disney destination. Plus with the new improvements to Fantasyland, the Magic Kingdom in Florida is gonna be even better.

I got a huge kick out of the Mr. Potato Head barker at the 3D shooting gallery in Hollywood. The line was long, but it was pretty fun.

I liked what I saw at the new Fantasy Land. The attention to and degree of detail far surpasses anything seen before. And the rides are fun.

The plans for Shanghai are pretty cool though.

It'll never happen. Because of the limited size of the individual cars (submarines) it didn't cycle guest fast enough and it was prone to breaking down (also a problem, as you couldn't exit guests as they do from other, normal rides). I was at WDW with parents in 1987. We went as soon as the park opened to 20,000 Leagues and it already had a 45 minute line at it.

It's a super lame Winnie the Pooh ride now

Saw the bears last year in their old version, so if we get to go again next year, I'm looking forward to comparing the new show, as well as the new Fantasy Land and the Under the Sea ride (the concept is on the Little Mermaid DVD).

It's still there at Disneyland. My wife was very happy, since she missed the one at WDW.

Evelyn Garcia, a fan, said after taking in the show in May. "They mess with it over my dead body."

Damn people take shiat WAYYYYY too seriously.

Nope. It If You Had Wings used to be where the Buzz Lightyear ride currently is. Winnie the Pooh replaced Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at WDW MK.

I quoted the wrong post (oops)

At least they still have the Carousel of Progress, though it badly needs an update.

That's still the key component of the show. Do you mean bring back the old version? I quite enjoy Jean Shepherd's version; every time he talks about Schwartz and fuses, I smirk.

EPCOT uber alles.

/Carousel of Progress is great because you can always get an air conditioned break from the horrible weather when you want it
