And Sturridge puts it to bed. Good match.

I'll take the 10 point lose in the FFPL for this Chelsea win.

Walker you dolt....

We won't draw against Reading. It's at Anfield.

We will lose.

That's 4.

MOTM is clearly Mata, 2 goals and an assist, and has played Spurs off the pitch.

I'm off to the Verizon store, because somehow I managed to turn my phone into a paperweight last night. If I'm not back by 12:30 eastern, have a drink of your choice.

Spurs defense was horrible, horrible. Gallas with the first 3 goals and Walker with the 4th. That 4th goal also cost me 5 points (15 vs 10). Plus I was really hoping Chelsea would drop points to help both Spurs and United.

Can't drink, have to go into work for a half day in 45 minutes. Getting sloshed when I get back though.

Meaning to ask, any truth to the rumors Nani might get sold in January?
Not like you would know for sure, but all the same.

No idea, 689908 would know a lot better than I would. I would be super happy if that was the case though as long as they replaced him with a solid attacking midfielder that wasn't selfish, knew how to pass and didn't dive. Basically everything that Nani isn't.

Speaking of which, I guess Ashley Young is injured?

I was hoping we'd get Berba and Petric on together today. Surprised to see Rod out there with them.

Nice own goal from Rooney. /sarcasm

Welbeck is not playing well today. Wasted two really good opportunities.

2012-10-20 10:25:22 AM
Milner's been sent off apparently.

Nicely done by Rooney and RVP.

Rooney has now scored at both ends in a single half!

Well there goes that prediction, lol.

.

Brilliant

"They [Leeds fans] are all going to get tarred with the same brush and that's not right, but they will do and they should do because it wasn't one person chanting the vile things."

Perfect footballistic nonsensical statement.

The are, but they shouldn't, but they will, and they should.

Any team thats played Leeds recently knows that Leeds fans are fighting Milwall for worst fans in football.

Oh my. I don't know. I guess he's for sale for the right price, which, as usual in United's case, is a lot lower than he's actually worth. I'm a fan though. To me, it's incredible that they won't increase his wages to less than Young's already on. Young and Smalling are meant to be close to fitness.

Apart from a few good moves, United have been fairly average so far. I think Rooney is the 14th different scorer in 11 games so far. Welbeck looks really lively, but saves his worst and most awkward moments for when he's closest to goal.

Hey, my phone is fixed! This is turning out to be a great Saturday after all!

My breakfast this morning is the Great Divide Rumble Oak-Aged IPA. Anyone else?

Welbeck rounds out the scoring for the strikers.

If he scored again, does that count as a hattrick for Rooney?

2012-10-20 11:29:25 AM
I flip away from the BBC website for a couple of minutes and see a flood of goals when I flip back.

Sitting on 3 perfects in Pool, Swansea, and West Ham. Hope I didn't just jinx myself. Off to work now, unfortunately, won't get to see how I do. See you chaps tomorrow morning for Tyne-Wear!

I think it would. I have heard of hat tricks of own goals.

With Fulham now scoring, every game has a goal in the second half except Liverpool v. Reading.

I'm on the same with only two wrong picks so far and a perfect for the West Brom vs City game.

Thanks to Dzeko thats 155 for me so far today!

All the right results (except one), only correct score was West Brom - City. Still clinging to the front page I assume?

Let's do this, Gunners
