Colorado does have an open carry law, so why didn't someone return fire and end this national nightmare?

I would have been offended just because it was kind of repetitive and not very musical.

I like her early stuff. You know, 'Lucky Star', 'Borderline' - but once she got into her 'Papa Don't Preach' phase, I don't know, I tuned out.

2012-10-20 12:02:08 AM
She was also accused of being more than three hours late to the show.

How the fark long can you make people wait before you have to give them their money back??

2012-10-20 12:26:47 AM
Sorry lady, but you've long since lost the ability to shock, all you do now, is offend.

dugitman: Her statement/explanation of the show to the pissed-off audience made my head hurt.

Ugh.

She's a stupid, vapid twunt, and yes, that made my head hurt too.

2012-10-20 02:27:26 AM
its wanting to stop the lies and hypocrisy of the church, the intolerance of many narrow minded cultures and societies I have experienced throughout my life and in some cases the pain I have felt from having my heart broken.

That must be some powerful drug(s).

2012-10-20 02:46:22 AM
It would have been more offensive if she played the H.M.S. Pinafore.

2012-10-20 03:00:31 AM
Serious Madonna is serious.

2012-10-20 03:03:25 AM
She has attention whored exactly like this her whole career. Why would this surprise anyone?

2012-10-20 03:03:38 AM
I don't normally give a ratf*ck what this has-been says or does, but this is ridiculous. What a raging kunt to rub salt in the wound by refusing to apologize, and instead issuing a public statement that basically says, "No fans and paying customers, this is all about ME, not you!"

biatch.

MDNA, it's a helluva drug.

How DO you get the third nail in?

2012-10-20 04:25:04 AM
Just an old attention whore's attempt to stay relevant. Ignore her and maybe she'll go away.

2012-10-20 04:27:12 AM
Off topic, but seeing "Madonna" and "Too Soon" in the same line made me instantly think of this song.

2012-10-20 04:29:45 AM
In/on the "popular" scene nowadays, only two groups matter:
Pussy Riot
Die Antwoord

2012-10-20 04:40:11 AM
TFA states this has been part of her show, it wasn't put in to piss these people off. it was left in to keep the show as others have seen it. no, not defending the entertainer. i would not go to her show if you gave me cash and a meal. america wants to be all hoo rah happy about gun culture run amuck, it comes with a price. everything does.

2012-10-20 04:48:04 AM
Considering the long standing culture of glamorizing gun-play in entertainment, and throngs of rednecks consistently defending the right to own nearly any gun they want despite countless incidents of shootings; and now people are indignantly offended by a Madonna concert? Silly.

These people need to get over it.

A bunch of people got shot during a bad movie. The guy's been caught, it's not like he's still out there, waiting to strike again. And Columbine...that was what, almost 15 years ago? Y'all need to put some Preparation H on that butthurt.

Dear Madonna:

You are not some deep artist. You are a vapid pop singer whose songs rarely get deeper than "just dance" or "just fark". Nothing more, nothing less. Stop this bullshiat, get up there and dance, and make sure you're accurate with the lip syncing. You have nothing meaningful to say and your "metaphors" come across as trying to hard to be intellectual crap. Dance monkey, dance and collect your ridiculous fee at the end of the night.

Thank you

2012-10-20 05:14:03 AM
Wait, so this is supposed to be about the batman movie? I kind of thought it might be related to the multiple incidents of shootings at Obama campaigns in the last week, but whatever, either are pretty offensive. Still, who really cares?

Attack of the Narcissist Pop Granny! Tremble at the sight of her gristle arms! Recoil at her clueless ramblings! Snore through her performance!

I think Madonna is a AW coont but that's what I was considering as well. Sorry people of Denver but you live in freaking Colorado which for many reasons has found itself to be a hotbed of gun nuts. Move the FARK out if you can't take the "insults".

2012-10-20 05:35:03 AM
Eh, the people who were offended deserve to feel bad solely because they paid $200 a pop to see some washed up pseudo-intellectual Eurotrash wannabe glorified pole dancer who passed her 14th minute more than a decade ago.

Ask your friend if he likes Madonna.

If his answer is anything other than no....

People in Denver are retarded.

Fark_Guy_Rob: People in Denver are retarded.

Seriously.

I was all set to be outraged - one of the rules of choreographing live theatrical violence is that you never, never, point a firearm, prop or not, at the audience without an EXTREMELY good reason, and then think not twice but four times about it - until I found out that it was already a part of the show which had performed in other venues. She simply choose not to take the bit out of the show.

Denver folk can get the fark over it; you don't change a heavily-choreographed show without a very good reason. Offending sensibilities like that is not a valid reason.

You deserve to be 'offended'.

Her entire career has been built on acting rudely. Not edgy. Not shocking. Rude.

If you cough up good money to see her and expect to be treated in a respectful way, I think you've probably lost your grip.

This is her schtick and always has been.

She may be a very clever businesswoman but that doesn't mean she's not a prick.

2012-10-20 08:03:09 AM
I'm no fan of her music, but I was prepared to say the offended people were overreacting, that I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it, etc... then I clicked on the link to her post-show statement.

Ugh.. What a minimally talented, egotistical, ropey-armed twunt. Bring on the pitchforks & torches.

A volunteer from the audience. *raises hand* Then accidentally miss the nail at her hand and bonk her in the forehead.

Wanna borrow by 3 pounder?

On the upside, they'll practically be giving away Batman costumes in Denver-area Walmarts this coming Halloween.

The price to see Babs here in Montreal was around 700 bucks, I think. That's why they're called fanatics.
