Private_Citizen: I was watching "insomniac" with Dave Atell years ago and Dave was in New Orleans. That city has a problem with nutrias, which are basically rats the size of corgis. Dave rode in the back of a pickup with a SWAT guy who was using a silenced .22 rifle to "thin the herd". It was quite effective - and I doubt any rodent will develop an immunity to small arms fire./at least, I sure hope they don't!
