I just turned 40 a month ago. I had repressed forgotten about the mental trauma of showing up to fifth grade wearing Sears Tuffskins until reading your post. The knee patch reinforcements were the real kick in the nads; it's like they designed them knowing that you were going to be shoved to the ground for wearing them.
