Nogale: Why Would I Read the Article: I work for Levi's and am in fact sitting at our corporate headquarters in SF right now, so I'm really getting a kick out of these replies.

Actually, I'm not, I hate the wasteless line, but our other jeans are pretty good and I get them at a huge discount, so there's that.

The quality of Levi's has really gone downhill since you started manufacturing them in China. Why not bring an American brand back to the US, create some employment, and make a product that will last?

Even when the overall quality was good, the sizing and fits were still massively screwed up. Levi's simply does not know how legs or butts work.

They at one point had a line of jeans intended for more middle-aged/bulky people. As an adult, Levis fit was always something of a compromise. Lifted too many weights, I guess. With a 12+" drop, I usually can't get suits off the rack, either. Oh, well.
