But Fonz was always the cool one.

FTA: Baio, who also stars in Arrested Development, meanwhile shares a similar sentiment to Moran, but says he has better things to worry about than Moran's plight.

'I don't know what her situation is,' the actor told Fox411.com.

'I have a job to do, I have a wife and child to take care of.

'So I don't pay attention to things that I don't know anything about. I've got my own situation to deal with."

Other things on his mind: Moran's other Happy Days co-star Scott Baio says he has better things to worry about than Moran's plight

That's pretty good character assassination right there. I'm actually impressed.

Good on Henry Winkler, let's hope Erin doesn't destroy herself faster once she gets some extra cash.

Can we all agree that there is nothing more absurd than The Daily Mail lifting a story from the National Enquirer and presenting it as news? This is the second one I've seen this morning.

Maybe Opie just ain't that stupid to have anything to do with this trainwreck. You don't become an "A List Producer and Director" by dealing with nightmares like this chick.

This is going to be one of those things where Joanie gets a free house, but then pisses it away five years later when she slips into heroin.

He knows actresses are crazy attention whores and has learned to ignore it.

Huh. A story about former glory, gradual decline, and arrested development features Corydon, once the capitol of Indiana, back in its happier days.

I don't understand why this story has missed the bigger story that Ron Howard is a cast member and producer of Arrested Development as well. Maybe I didn't read the whole story but it seems the only mention of Howard was that he's an A-list director and it didn't list his connection to AD at all. That's the reason why Winkler and Baio are on the show to begin with, I would think.

2012-10-18 08:25:14 AM
I have a hard time working up any sympathy for her. She pissed her life away, her choice.
Maybe Henry can help her for the short term, but I seriously doubt that she will use this opportunity to turn her life around.

I may have helped them get their roles; but both of them owned their characters.
If we are to continue talking about these people, we better make sure we are not going to be sued for libel.
I'll off to Bob Loblaw's Law Blog to further research the subject.

By all accounts Henry Winkler is an incredibly nice guy, and Scott Baio is an incredible tool. So things seem to be playing out according to Hoyle. Maybe the reason Ron Howard isn't rushing to help her is that she may be an incredible coont.

AD's bread and butter is running gags, one of which involves the actors. Andy Griffith references, Happy Days cast members, Jason Bateman's sister, why not Joanie? In fact, I'd like to see a one-off gag involving the two guys who played Chuck Cunningham.

I'm actually shocked, given the fact that Anson Williams has a LOT of experience directing TV shows, that he didn't film at least one episode of AD over it's run.

Henry's reaction after she re-self-destructs:

/Actually good for Henry...maybe she'd be more appropriate on 'Children's Hospital'. She wouldn't have to act.

And the Daily Fail lives up to its name by illustrating "Happy Days" by using a picture of the Ted McGinley version of the cast .

I don't know that it was entirely her choice. Someone posted in a past thread that she lost all of the money she'd earned during her career after she deposited it in a Savings and Loan that failed. So, in Hollywood women have to make $ in a very short window of time because the odd of their being able to find work past the age of 30 are almost nil. Once she lost all her money, there was no chance of earning an equivalent amount.

2012-10-18 10:10:16 AM
Her problem is that she goes against good financial advice. The rest of The Happy Days cast took Tom Bosley's advice and bought tons of real estate. Erin on the other hand, invested in a savings and loan, and after those went bust, she was penniless.

I was right behind her in the line to the Blue Jay S&L, and she was carrying on like a Greek widow. She was scared to death that she was going to have to do porn movies to get by (as soon as word was leaked out that she was flat broke, I guess she got offers to do Z-rated movies.

I heard that the same Asian movie producers who tried to murder struggling actress Susan Richardson during a production in the Philippines for insurance money also had Erin in their sights.

CSS: I met Henry Winkler once at a big charity Disco. He's really nice, but incredibly shy. Also, I was wearing heels (effectively making me 6'1") and he was about boob height next to me. I always thought he was much taller than he is. Still a sweet person, though.

That being said, what the fark is the deal with this article? They used the phrase "worse for wear" at least three farking times. Find a new phrase!

I'm disappointed fans of the show couldn't pull together something, but it seems people would rather buy Joe Biden a Trans Am.

If every who grew up watching that show made a small donation maybe we could buy her an old car that she could sleep in at least.

Absolutely not. He is busy trying to act on some abortion of a show on Nick At Nite. Why people keep giving him a job, I'll never understand. He's like a male version of Tori Spelling.

They probably grabbed that quote about Erin Moran from Scott from some other interview just about him that was from a long time ago. In the middle of the interview they mentioned Erin and asked him about her.

In that context the quote seems harmless and trivial.

Then they spliced it in to this story to make him sound malicious towards her.

That's the way the Daily Mail rolls.

Sad thing is that I think I have the shirt that guy is wearing. It might be time to update my wardrobe.
