I hope it was one of the ethanol based hand sanitizers. Or else she's in a world of hurt.

FTA - Equal to 32 shots of VODAK!?!?!?! I'm sure Walmart will be carding you for this sometime soon.

Now, there is someone who really needs AA. I know I shouldn't take her inventory... but I don't think there is any question she needs help.

I never could understand why someone would drink that stuff, but I just ran the numbers from Amazon

Purell economy size, 2L, $17.95
2L=67.6 oz
$0.26/oz

Smirnoff, 1l, $16.95
1L=33.8 oz
$0.50/oz

I guess if you are desparate, it is cheap.

FTA: The equivalent of 32 shots of vodka. Her BAC was .17. This means she can slam almost a pint of Grey Goose and be just under the .8 DUI limit.

Methinks we have some cop math here somewhere.

Aqua Velva &/or Lavoris not good enough for her??

I'd rather drink Night Train than Purell.

Fortunately I've never needed to get my drunk on badly enough to touch either of them.

Why drink something full of dangerous chemicals, just to get drunk?

Doesn't she know she can force a box worth of cheap wine straight up her ass?

I mean, Purell? She's clearly got a problem.

Yeah, it's incredibly stupid for the police to say that it's the same type of alcohol, because though sometimes it's ethanol (Purell is 63% by mass).

The DUI limit is 0.08, not 0.8.

probably easier to steal hand sanitizer than it is alcohol, some bathrooms just have the stuff right in there.

Ew. Very bad visual of alchie lady bent over sucking off the wall dispenser. I think I'd rather be dead than get to that place.

Yikes. Yeah, since death starts becomming a very real possibility at .4 .

Anyone desperate enough to drink Purell should probably be applying it topically instead of ingesting it.

A woman drink like that and don't eat, she is going to die.

"
FTFA,
"It's the same alcohol in beer, in wine and Jack Daniels, however, it is more concentrated," Dr. Danyal Ibrahim said of St. Francis Hospital told the station.

This kind of drinking is not normally done to get drunk, rather to keep the horrors of acute alcohol withdrawal away. Booze is obviously preferable but to a sick alcoholic it won't matter as long as alcohol can be ingested.

We have a mexican restaraunt here that keeps large bottles of purell on every table. I think about fortifying my margarita every time....

Oh, definitely. Listen closer, I was typing with my sarcastic voice!

I'm very familiar with the problems faced by alcoholics, and the lengths they will go to during detox. Mouthwash, cold medicine, and now hand sanitizer; anything with alcohol in it.

If one of your parents ever hit you for pointing out they had three drinks sitting around...you might have been raised by an alcoholic...

Because alcohol is a solvent (Purell® Instant Hand Sanitizer contains 62% Ethyl Alcohol), it can dissolve floor wax and leave a dull or discolored spot if dripped on the floor. In certain situations, product may be "splashed" onto the floor from the user's hands as it is being rubbed in.

10. Is Purell® instant hand sanitizer flammable?
Purell® Instant Hand Sanitizer is flammable but requires a flame, spark, or other ignition source. Purell® products are safe when used, handled, and stored as directed.

11. Is Purell® instant hand sanitizer toxic?
Purell® Instant Hand Sanitizer is not toxic if used properly.

Would you define "sexual relations properly?"
