Why wasn't Jesus born on the Jersey shore?

Because God couldn't find three wise men and a virgin there.

Mary would not hang out at a car wash. Maybe a miniature golf course, but not a car wash.

Yes. I'm 100% convinced that this is not a film left over from a jet of water hitting the window. Couldn't be. Not at a CAR WASH.

When the smoke cleared, he saw the image of the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus in one of the car wash windows, he said.

In New Jersey? If she was a virgin, she was what they call a technical virgin.

Usually, one must go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of her stature..

She's been everywhere else, may as well go to a car wash.

This car wash is in Ewing... nowhere near the Jersey Shore. This is right by Princeton, near PA.

Day_Old_Dutchie: Joisey...

People from Jersey don't say "Joisey". That's a NYC thing. Like someone with an Archie Bunker accent.

I've lived in NJ for over 10 years now, and a couple of weeks ago, for the very first time ever, I met a local who said "Joisey." (My kid was playing with another kid, and it was the other kid's dad.) So someone does it, though it's safe to say he's just one of several thousand people I've met in the state (some with otherwise heavy local accents).

That surprises me. I haven't heard it.

Snooki's not even from Jersey. She's from NY.

Well like I said, this was just once in over a decade. It was kind of embarrassing, too. I was with my dad, visiting me from out of state, and we met this kid's parents at the park... and so this other guy shook my dad's hand and said "welcome to New Joisey." And for all I know, this other guy just moved out from Staten Island or something. I had to tell my dad later that I'd never heard anyone non-jokingly say it that way. I don't think he believes me.

Thanks. I actually work a few blocks from this car wash. UGH. Maybe this is why it's taking longer to get to work. >.
