I used to know how to read their stripes. Then I moved south. Now I don't really remember.

Never understood personally. I've heard 35 different interpretations. Who knows if the one in TFA is accurate.

The Farmer's Almanac is cool to look though, though.

Funny, as I left for work I saw two, one with brown on only the ends, and another with 2 narrow brown bands near the middle. Interesting!

I don't need caterpillars to predict it's gonna be cold winter. I look at the older outdoor cats. Ralph went from mangy dirtbag during the summer to a fluffy dirtbag this fall.
