(Gainesville Sun)   Normally if you're celebrating your birthday at a Frankie and Benny's restaurant and you start making funny faces after drinking some whiskey, it's not newsworthy. But it is if you're there celebrating your second birthday   ( divider line

CapeFearCadaver: Why do I get the feeling that some of these mistaken alcohol drinks to toddlers stories resulted from some dumbass teenaged server, for the 'lulz'?

It's possible but unlikely. When I was a server, whenever anyone wanted to try and sneak an alcoholic drink from the bar they would use one of the kid cups, because they were small paper cups that weren't transparent, unlike the larger plastic cups used for regular sodas. My guess is during many of these cases are a result of an employee's special kiddie cup getting mistaken for a real one.

Of course, not every restaurant works the same. Some may not use non-transparent cups for the kids and/or not let the employees use them for their personal drinks. One pretty universal truth to every restaurant though is 95% of the employees are huge drunks. At least amongst the servers and bar staff. Kitchen staff has it's drunks too, but a higher percentage are potheads.
