jesus, what an asshole.

2012-10-15 06:05:20 PM
What kind of job creator washes someone else's dishes?

2012-10-15 06:09:36 PM
They are quite shameless, aren't they?

2012-10-15 06:17:46 PM
There is an even chance that this douchebag will be the next Vice President of the United States.

Every time I think this country simply cannot get more stupid, it proves me wrong.

2012-10-15 06:19:33 PM
Why did he do a photo op at a soup kitchen? I thought the campaigns official position was they didn't need to worry about those people. That they'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.

That was 2 weeks ago. Now they really really care for the poor. Just ask them.

Ah republicans. All image and no substance.

Way to go guys.

Sounds about right.

Appearances matter. Like how they need to appear tough on the budget by cutting 0.012% of it.

2012-10-15 08:30:00 PM
y'know...I can't say i'm at all surprised by any of this.

2012-10-15 08:39:39 PM
Well, duh, the dirty dishes might have had infectious POOR on them, to say nothing of possible contamination by the REAL enemy: carbs!

I'm actually surprised that it wasn't Romney himself that did this. I was quite startled to see Paul.

I sincerely hope that this soup kitchen doesn't lose any funding because of Ryan's asshat publicity stunt. Not that Ryan would give a sh*t if it did.

This article leaves out his private chat with the homeless dude outside. I really wonder what was said.

it was probably a timing issue - Romney might have had a fundraiser or something. Ryan is supposed to be the guy on the ticket who can talk to poor people....in theory anyways.

I thought it was "talk at" poor people. Isn't Romney to rich to address people in poverty?

the really sick thing is, the economy is on the verge of a full-steam recovery. housing is back. retail is back. if these assholes win, they're going to inherit a stable economy without lifting a farking finger. sicker still, had they not done everything in their considerable power to hold the economy back, we'd be in a boom already.

sadly, they timed it just about perfectly.

"We can cut social programs because private charities will step up," has been a conservative mantra for years.

And when their policies fark everything up, as they undoubtedly will, who do you think will get the blame?

Yep, the Black Democrat. And America is so farking stupid that they will fall for it.

The job creators were boycotting Obama and now that PRESIDENT Romney is in office, they ended their boycott and created tons of jobs.

/could see Freepers using that line.

I think we've learned it matters not at all that it's a lie. Do it/say it, it gets votes (no matter how big the lie).

2012-10-15 09:05:33 PM
So, it is the GOP coming in to clean the dishes the poor democrat already cleaned up, and make sure you take a photo as "proof" that they were the ones who cleaned things up.

Did I get all that right?

Yeah, pretty much that is all you need to know about what is going on in the photo.

I blame stupidity and impatience.

It's farking insulting that these two think we're that farking stupid to swoon over such blatant pandering. It's like the farking brown noser at the office who keeps a picture of the boss on his desk.

Um, the polls for the last 2 weeks suggest enough people are buying it to make it well worth their time and possibly give them the presidency.

No they've been lying their asses off the entire campaign. But calling them out on that requires fact checking or even common sense. I'm talking specifically about these pathetic photo ops including Romney shopping and doing laundry. Since that was months ago and this was 2 days ago, I don't think Romney's recent rise in the polls had anything to do with either.

No, that was from the lying and the pandering during the debate.

It scares the shiat out of me that he could very well be our next vice president. What an undeserving douchebag. He's never had to struggle for anything in his life except maybe with his latent homosexuality.

That cautionary phrase only has meaning when the Presidential candidate isn't just as scary as the VP.
