Rob! Rob! We have a catastrofark!

Matt Cassel was credited with a second lost fumble last week in a post-game review, so he wound up with a 66.7. Are there ex post facto awardings of the Jake? Multiple gold medals?

kteela: Tickle Mittens: Di Atribe: eddievercetti: UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: Yeah. Redskins too, because that's my brother's team. I promised DiAtribe a couple of years ago that I'd let go my Cowboy Hate for Super Bowl XII, and ONLY because she's so awesome (gorgeous too), I have forgiven them (a little).

Of course, if Di owned the Cowboys I would hate them even less.

/Saw Rivers interview, he's lost, is he?

If I owned the Cowboys, I'd hire a GM so I could just be drunk in the owner's suite all the time.

Also, I'd change the sign on the door to "OWNER'S SWEET" because I'd be the boss of everything and I said so. And then you guys can come over and play MarioKart on the big screen.

Wow. I would actually have to stop being contemptful of the Cowboys. Don't take that joy away from me.

There is as much joy in your own team making Tony Romo cry like a leetle girl as there is in any of life's pleasures.

I was at the game when he was sitting on his ass, crying in front of the North Endzone of then-Qwest field, in the playoffs. Sure, my rational mind knows it was more Witten's fault than Romo's, and Kelly Jennings would have probably blocked the kick anyway. But an ebullient light rose up within me as I watched this dazed and broken man grapple with the confusion of how it came to be that his dreams slipped through his fingers and all his year's labors were undone in a moment he already struggled to remember. And that light's ember still warms me to this day. No one should have to give that up. No man once blessed by it's glow could.

Way late to the party, but the Broncos cant move the ball at all in the first half, fall way behind, then dominate defensively in the second half while their QB leads them to victory. This is different than last year how? Oh yeah... they are a .500 team with Manning as a starter. Tebow was a WINNER.

How many 24 point deficits did Tebow pull them out of?

/ and in how many of those did Tebow complete 80% of his passes?
// hint: you could count on one hand the number of games where he completed more than 50%

1. Manning is a beast.

2. The Chargers acted like they had the game wrapped at half time.

3. The refs screwed the Chargers for the 2nd week in a row (though I wouldn't blame the loss on them this week, it still had an impact on the game).

4. Rivers is my favorite QB, but he needs to pull his head out of his ass.

5. Eddie Royal needs a benching.

6. End of the No(win)rv Turner era?

7. I actually had a feeling in my gut at the end of the first half that this shiat would happen.

I switched it off as soon as it was 24-0, but I told Mrs. Hillbilly that the Broncos have a habit of making these things interesting so I better check back later. Check back and it's 24-14, sat back and enjoyed the magic.

They did have some bad calls. Those false start penalties against Rivers were pretty shiatty. But the Broncos had some bad calls against them too. Like that bullshiat OPI call against Decker(I'm pretty sure it was him) that ended up killing a drive.

But as you said, the Chargers screwed themselves, and I doubt the outcome would have been much different had none of the bad calls been made.

I was going to sleep at halftime, but got up to turn off some lights, brush my teeth, etc, and the 2nd half had already started... that first drive was beautiful... so I kept watching a little... and then the show began.

/I got to watch Rivers go Delhomme live :D

Not fair. I wanted to watch Rivers go Delhomme.

/That should be the NFL commercial instead of wishing Greg Jennings was in my lap.
