yeah, i saw it.

it starts offscreen but it's pretty clear when it happens. and that's why you don't let anyone see where you put your wallet.

Keigh: yeah, i saw it.

Unlikely. if I'm at a coffee counter like that, it'd be impossible not to let anyone see me put my wallet in my purse. It would also be impossible for them not to see that it's zipped up inside, under a flap that has a click-clasp, with my hand propped on top.

That's why I make a point of pulling down my zipper, and putting my wallet inside my underpants.

What, TMI?

Whenever I take out my wallet in public, I make sure to lick it all over, while growling and staring at everyone nearby. That way everyone around knows it's mine and they better not even think about taking it.

Oddly enough, the mall has asked me not to come back.

this is green? well if my post is a spoiler, modmins may remove it. i really didn't think this was going anywhere.

I clicked another of the "can you find the" videos and it bounced around and made me dizzy.

The best part is the end where that super scary face fills the screen and screams at you. I almost had a heart attack.

Basic wallet security: keep it in your front pocket at all times. Baggy jeans make it easy to pickpocket.

See, I keep mine back right, but I don't have anywhere to put it in the front. Phone is front left, keys, pen and cough drops in the right, and usually a jump drive too.

Not just that, he put it in his bag, not his back pocket which would have been harder to pic.

Never understood people who put their wallets in their back pockets in the first place...doesn't it hurt when you sit down? I've always been a lifelong fronty myself.

he probably should have just kept it on his tray until he sat down. (that's how you keep anyone from seeing where you put it.) All in all a weird scene. why did guy in plaid take so long going back for his wallet, and then watch where he looks, and then he's still next in line.... I think he's the one who's in on it.

The guy in plaid seemed suspicious (seems like he kept looking back a lot), but, that is because he was watching his bag in the booth I think.... the guy who got picked goes and sits at plaid's table, so, I doubt plaid was in on it, unless he was angry at his "friend" for something.

So the pickpocket knew who he was going for when he walked in. Saw the mark buy something else earlier, I guess? Lucky for him the guy made it so easy--he was slow enough that he still almost blew it.

How the fark do you equate putting your wallet in your back pocket with the wallet right up against your ass with putting it in a bag that is completely separate from one's body?

Not likely. See him when he comes in? He's scoping for marks pretty hardcore.

And for those saying plaid is in on it, I don't think so. The marks bag may be european but him and plaid are totally butt buddies. Not there's anything wrong with that.

all we know is that they're sitting together. maybe not even friends, and plaid guy put the mark on him, buddied up, shared a table, and stalled long enough for phone guy to get in there.

anyway. we don't know.

Is this kind of pickpocketing (or bag-pocketing, I guess) very popular here in the US? Because I haven't heard about it happening much here. I know it's fairly common in Europe, because whenever I travel there I hear countless warnings. I was nearly ripped off twice. In Nice, some guy bumped into me from behind - there were very few others around so he had no reason to be walking so close to me. In Venice, I was swarmed by a bunch of gypsy kids and those bastards didn't even try to hide the fact that they were trying to steal from my pockets. I always keep my passport, cash and credit cards inside a pouch that I hang over my neck and inside my shirt, so they never got anything.
