GilRuiz1: Ah, Prohibition; a failed, misguided experiment in telling adults they can't drink something because we don't think it's good for them. Are you listening, NYC
fusillade762: You're not paying for sex, you're paying for champagne.
KIA: Let people buy or not buy as they see fit. Sheesh.
darwinpolice: I remember ticket scalpers doing this outside of Seahawks games when I was a teenager. Buy a $200 t-shirt and you get two free tickets to watch the Seahawks lose.
xxdonjulioxx: intelligent comment below: The Christian conservative usually just push for a dry county.
Cyno01: Yeah, maybe state laws vary in their language, by I remember in college that selling a cup and giving away the beer still amounted to selling alcohol without a license.
Krieghund: fusillade762: You're not paying for sex, you're paying for champagne.Champagne must be the new girl./I already paid for Brandi, Ginni, Tequila, Bailey, Margarita, the other Margarita, Sherry, and Mudslide.
IntertubeUser: No other state in the union takes "state pride" to the level Texas does. I lived there for 20+ years. It's the only state in which I could go to Home Depot and buy a state flag to fly off the porch. But when it comes to so many "quality of life" issues, of which beer is a part, TX sucks balls. WA beer kicks TX beer's ass! There are three breweries within the city limits of Seattle which have lines better than anything TX produces.Don't mess with Texas ... fark Texas.//Texass...a good place to be from.
intelligent comment below: State alcohol laws? So much for "freedom" those conservatives always proclaim
zobear: Has anyone been to East Austin Hops & Grain? zobear jr. & I are going to Austin to check out UT for her college and...well...I like beer.
Breathe Laugh Twitch: the county of Liberty is dry.
BolloxReader: That's what the vendor had done at my alma mater before siccing health department inspectors on every impromptu student pizza party on campus and threatening to sue the school unless they barred every delivery service from bringing food onto campus and have the police issue trespass warnings against any violators.

Breathe Laugh Twitch: Awesomely, the county of Liberty is dry. The irony is breathtaking, no?
