These guys suck! Hi all.

/Go Denny

Won't be the same without Dale Jr., but hey, why take the chance? I can hear the race from my house.

2012-10-13 07:40:32 PM
Regan Smith has a helluva opportunity tonight. This is the driver I'm watching and wishing well to.

Green flag at 7:50ET

Dustin Long @dustinlong
Remember race is on ABC. Coverage will have split screen of race & commercials in 2nd half EXCEPT when a local break.

2012-10-13 07:42:34 PM
Wouldn't it be a biatch if Regan Smith brought the 88 in for the win?

2012-10-13 07:44:01 PM
Did you guys see Angela Cope's truly auspicious start to the Nationwide race last night?

For those that didn't - The green flag waved, Joe Nemechek had to check up slightly, and she completely destroyed her car smashing into him before she even crossed the line to start the race.

2012-10-13 07:44:11 PM
Go Regan, I guess. Maybe a little Go Dinger, too!

/anybody but JJ.

2012-10-13 07:45:57 PM
No RaceBuddy tonight, because ABC wants all eyes on their commercials.

Yeah, I didn't see that until after I submitted the thread (yes, it's my 2nd greenlit thread, both for races).

Speaking of old guys, I caught a glimpse of that Michael Waltrip Racing all access show earlier. Seemed pretty good.

Mikey was saying that if he had won at 'dega, he was seriously considering fully retiring in victory lane. Nonetheless, he figures himself lucky to have a chance to win in what he knows will be one of the last races of his career.

Kinda puts the chance he's given old Mark in perspective.

Maybe if Michael hadn't triggered the big one he might have had a chance to win/retire

Jr's out...no dog in this fight.

Therefore, go non-chasers not named Busch

It was Smoke that triggered it, and he manned up after the race and owned up to it.

Anyone think that this Earnhardt issue may cause NASCAR to change the restricter plate racing? Don't know how they'd fix it, maybe drive 4 cylinders!

It was the 40g hit at the Kansas tire test that did it. The 'dega hit was "only" 20g's, but the effects are cumulative.

What the hell. This is the third Chase race Kenseth has had the rear end on his car break.

Gee, I wonder which Roush team is being saddled with the R&D burden.

But I sure didn't miss that RE-START

That restart situation can only be described as "Cope-like."

I was wondering if Maldonado was driving in the Cup for a minute there (if that had happened at the start, I'd be blaming Grosjean).

Makes sense. shenanigans aside, long green flag runs are most likely in the near future, and some cars have now pitted for fuel.
