I am highly amused at all the anti-dish network ads during the Walking Dead marathon right now.

I think this is how the Jews came to America to fight the Indians according to the Book of Mormon.

No.

And thanks again, humorless twatwaffles. A real threat, those kids in their costumes. Sheesh.

Yes, no one around here likes zombie stuff.

Ummm, a corporation pulls a publicity stunt and it's a news story. Not even a news story, a press release.

This time, the zombies had a stern task to perform: reminding lawmakers in our nation's capital that Dish Network was still not including AMC in its lineup, denying its 14 million subscribers their inalienable right to pursue happiness by watching Sunday's third-season debut of "The Walking Dead."

Because dealing with that is definitely the job of Congress.

Comparing this "protest" to other protests actually makes me feel happy. I am glad that the police had more patience for the Occupy movement before shutting them down. At least The Authorities have some political priorities. Protesting tv channel selection during an election is possibly the worst cliche we've seen yet of first world problems.

NYRBill: zombie var crawl by me on 10*27. can't decide whether to join in or "hunt" them

Hunt them! I was in a zombie walk in Asbury Park, NJ on the 6th--5,000+ zombies and only a handful of hunters. We zombies TOTALLY played along, especially for those hunters who forgot to "Double-tap". There was a group w/Nerf guns attacking us and we just kept coming until we got a shot to the head. Chest wound--`tis merely a scratch! A great time was had by all but mostly the Mundanes who kept cracking up. Until we started lunging towards them...

Unless you can put together a cool-ass zombie costume, the next best way to attract attention is as a hunter.

This was about trying to make congress make laws to force some entertainment network to host a particular channel? Are you bloody serious? Twatwaffles. Its not even that great of a show, no BSG that's for sure.

'This time, the zombies had a stern task to perform: reminding lawmakers in our nation's capital that Dish Network was still not including AMC in its lineup.'

Really?
What a waste of protest.

"What's the deal, people?!" bellowed one irked bicyclist, who apparently didn't think much of any pedestrian, undead or alive, who slowed him down.

Maybe the undead don't think much of hipster douchebags either?

This is what I got out of it. Fark those entitled arses, if they don't like that Dish doesn't carry AMC, they're free to change their TV provider to one that does. Or watch it on the interwebz.

It's also BS that DIsh, and other pay-TV providers, are forced to carry channels that few people watch in order to display the one channel that many people watch. To the entertainment companies, if your TV channel sucks and no one watches it then it's time to either drop that channel and add its content to a channel that someone watches, or change how that TV channel presents its content.

IFC used to be pretty decent and I've watched some very good films on it but that was quite a few years ago. Today IFC is pretty much crap.

Check out a movie called The Chambermaid on the Titanic, great film.

I haven't laughed so hard on Fark in a long time. Here's to you, Hector Remarkable, Mr. I-posted-on-the-wrong-thread-and-ended-up-accidentally-saying-somethin g-horribly-anti-semetic-man.

Happy Halloween, and be sure to steer clear of Jewish Zombies.
