Kumana Wanalaia: RichieLaw: Thanks so much! That looks great. Once we get the design down we can set up a perk. I think I am going to do a "cheap" t-shirt and then do the photoshopped ones maybe as a special edition or something.

Also, please see unfreakables' posts above regarding providing help for the photoshop threads and stuff.

Noted. Thank you, Unfreakable.

If we print shirts for $10 each, the cost of re-shipping them will be the critical factor.

Everything is closed right now, so I can't call the customer support lines. But if we could get a bulk shipping rate, that could make it possible. Otherwise shipping costs will kill this.

I'm thinking that we'd put in the order once every 2 weeks, hopefully we'll get over 100 orders each cycle. Or we could take all the orders and do one shipment, that would save a lot. But it would mean that the shirts don't get to the donors until over 2 months from now :/

I'm going to relax for a minute and then figure out the max height and width in pixels for the photoshop. Then I'll post tentative phrasings of the photoshop and caption links.

Yeah. The time frame doesn't bother me. I will not be ordering ANYTHING until the campaign is over. The funds will not disperse till then. So we have plenty of time. Plus I think people are used to waiting for their t-shirts. We can post shipping updates on the website after the campaign is over.

Thanks soo much for all your help!

Happy to do my little part...if I stop and think, it feels a little weird to be lauding Biden,
but he's a decent guy and the cause rocks.

My husband thinks I'm a little off my rocker (he's FAR less of a moderate Republican
than I am) but oh well. I'm having a hell of a time helping to pull this off.

Glad to hear. I was honestly thinking that if the goal here is achieved, why not do it every 4 years regardless of the VP? On one hand, you have the "specialness" of this event diluted a bit, but who wouldn't think buying Ryan a Weiner-mobile wouldn't be fab?

But we get ahead of ourselves...

Oh, HELL YES!

So I'm going to make this as a t-shirt now and offer it as a perk. I'm thinking this text on the front, "I bought Joe Biden a Trans Am and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." on the front and, "Its a BFD" on the back.

I like that.

How was the movie? Hubby and I want to go see it, but we're afraid it's going to turn out
like Munich - which was a really good movie, but it was sooooooooooooo heavy and just
damn depressing.

Not depressing at all! Uplifting.

The tone reminded me, especially in the third act, of Apollo 13.

Affleck is seriously on his game directing. Alan Alda is incredible in Act II.

I loved the movie, loved it loved it loved it. Cried at certain parts, especially a great character redemption scene (you'll know when you see it).

For the Mix Tape, if there is one, it has to include Heart. Who can't imagine Joe and Bill Clinton laying on the hood of Joe's sweet Trans Am (a la Wayne and Garth) listening to "Barracuda" and arguing over which Wilson sister is hotter? It could have happened in the seventies, or it could have happened just last week. That's the endurance of awesomeness.

I was around in the 80's and don't remember Jorts. I do remember stirrup pants and women's suits with football-grade padded shoulders.

But for some reason, I didn't think anyone had big hair, back then.

I don't know about Joe Biden's Delaware, but big hair took over south Jersey in the 80's.
