Uh, Subby?

Classics Illustrated is not, nor was it ever, a Marvel Comics title. In fact, Classics Illustrated began in 1941, and was published by various independent publishers for 160 or so issues until the 1960s.

There have been many reprints of those issues over the years, but never one by Marvel Comics.

Now, Marvel has,on occasion, do serialized comics of old novels, but never anything under the title "Classics Illustrated".

See, Subby, the "Deadpool Killustrated" cover is a parody/homage to beloved old comics, not a tie-in to anything Marvel is doing, or has ever done.

That sounds slightly less dumb than Spidey and Mary Jane getting back together but not Peter and Mary Jane.

Comic books have run out of ideas.

A few years ago, I was home for Christmas and had brought my girlfriend (now wife) with me. We were out and about when I saw we were near my favorite comic shop, so I asked if we could stop in. She didn't feel she could say no since she'd just had me take her shopping, but she complained the entire way into the store.

She kind of moped around the store and made snarky comments at me while I was looking at books and games. At least, until she came upon the clearance rack and found a bunch of Marvel Classics there. Did I mention she's an english teacher?

When we left, she had $120 of heavily discounted books in her arms.

"Aren't you glad we stopped in, sweetie?"
" . . . Shut up."

Is that a typo? In the world of Deadpool, you never know.....

I'm more interested in seeing Deadpool in the new Thunderbolts with Rulk, Venom, Elektra, and Punisher. Didn't he recently lose his healing factor, or did I dream that?

Deadpool and Lobo never crossed over?
or could the universe not contain that much snark in one panel?

Yeah no.

Deadpool is hilarious, but let's not see him get to Wolverine levels of idiocy where for a while it was "Wolverine Comics, published by Marvel".

The other Deadpool videos they did like that one are equally hilarious. If you haven't seen them, they're videos of him at various comic-cons, dancing and farking around with people.

I think the sum total of awesome in the crossover would cause the comics to combust spontaneously.
