Te'o for Heisman discussions begin... now.

2012-10-13 07:06:31 PM
Did he just spin and put the ball into the end zone while everyone else ran off celebrating?

2012-10-13 07:06:38 PM
Either way, ND has got to go down in the rankings after this game. Stanford has been over-hyped since the USC win. Game should not have been this close (if ND was as good as everyone would have us believe).

2012-10-13 07:06:55 PM
That's not a stop! the ball broke the line.

2012-10-13 07:06:56 PM
Incidentally, I don't think he was ever down and there was no whistle.

2012-10-13 07:07:08 PM

Spaced Cowboy: Did he just spin and put the ball into the end zone while everyone else ran off celebrating?

God only knows when that whistle blew (and the refs)

Who has both on their side?

2012-10-13 07:07:23 PM
Real innovative playcalling there, Stanford.

2012-10-13 07:07:43 PM
Did he ever touch the ground?

2012-10-13 07:07:45 PM
That sure looks like a touchdown on replay.

2012-10-13 07:07:47 PM
Oh my god. ND is going to cause the most butthurt in the NC talk in a long time.

2012-10-13 07:08:12 PM
Should be a TD

2012-10-13 07:08:20 PM
Ohh, was his elbow down?

No way Stanford gets this call, even if they deserve it...

eeeewww

didn't have a stream either...

I think it's pretty farking dumb that SDSU couldn't get a local station to broadcast their homecoming game, but they had TV coverage for a game against some no-name school earlier in the year...grrrrrr...

2012-10-13 07:09:15 PM
It's a TD but it's not conclusive

2012-10-13 07:09:18 PM
Elbow down. No TD.

2012-10-13 07:09:29 PM
REFS GIFT-WRAP GAME FOR ND. SHOCKING.

After further review --- Notre Dame Wins!!

2012-10-13 07:09:37 PM
Notre Dame wins it, call stands!

All those mormons not knowing what to do with a beaver.

GO BEAVS! 5-0!!!!

2012-10-13 07:09:45 PM
That's gonna be a controversial ruling, but I honestly couldn't tell if he broke the plane after being down.

2012-10-13 07:10:03 PM
Stanford just got hosed by the hometown refs.

2012-10-13 07:10:21 PM
Stamford got screwed, the ball crossed the plane.

I don't think you could have overturned anything based on the replays

2012-10-13 07:10:53 PM
INFIELD FLY!

/oh wait

2012-10-13 07:11:13 PM
Looked like a TD, but wasn't 100% conclusive to overturn. His elbow may have been down before the ball crossed the plane. Too hard to tell.

2012-10-13 07:11:15 PM
Stanford guy got in. But. If he didn't.

Didn't the ball get scooped up by a Stanford lineman in the endzone?

2012-10-13 07:11:46 PM

Popcorn Johnny: Stamford got screwed, the ball crossed the plane.

No it didn't. He was holding the ball vertical as his elbow hit down. I have it paused on my tv right now. Shy of the goal line.

Call me wrong on OSU's defense. They stepped up after BYU made that first drive look easy.

The thing is, if BYU catches a few more passes to pretty open receivers, and this is a totally different game. I'm glad there were a few drops on the field.

Really, Vaz didn't have me worried, but the running game and matchups on defense had me worried. Defense stood tall, Woods was good until injured (and I hope he's not hurt too bad...).

The touchdown was awarded to the Seahawks.

2012-10-13 07:12:10 PM
No whistle, still on top of bodies and no elbows/knees on the ground, ball breaks the plane while in possession. Bull shiat. Of course the way ND was handed that FG drive you could see this coming.

You cannot advance a fumble on 4th down or in overtime -- if it was ruled he was short and fumbled, the ball would be returned to the spot of the fumble.

Now that's an endin... OMFG DIAFF 5 HOUR ENERGY GUY

Anyone watching the Gators? 5 penalties already? Did the first team make it to the stadium yet?

2012-10-13 07:13:36 PM
Is it time for LSU to lose yet? Gettin ancy.

2012-10-13 07:13:42 PM
They have the stretcher for some kid at the Bama/Mizzou game.

2012-10-13 07:13:49 PM
I was completely expecting ND to lose today. But what if ND beats USC and runs the table, NC game? This will be interesting because if that happens you know they will get the NC game.

Shame my Buckeyes can't play in this year's post season. Some team is going to get a freebie in a BCS game against Notre Dame and I wouldn't mind another Fiesta Bowl trophy at the expense of the Irish.

Because you know that the Buckeyes wouldn't be in the Rose Bowl?

The hell did you guys do to that Mizzou kid? That was the first time I've seen the losing team take a knee

A part of me hope ND goes undefeated so they can lose to the SEC champ by 30 in the championship game.

The way they're playing this year, they'd walk right into the Rose Bowl with no problems. The Big Ten isn't up to par and Meyer's offense is really starting to click if last week was any indication of the team's progress.

I was merely alluding to the 2006 Fiesta Bowl game that was loads of fun for the Buckeye faithful. A repeat of that would be good times.

between breaking that kid's head and the suplex by the Ala D line a few plays before Mizzou probably decided it was better to knee it out.

Damn, one hell of an INT by USC

I don't know what you're smoking. As the only two undefeated teams at the end of the season, Notre Dame will play Ohio U for the championship and the Bobcats will mop the floor with the Irish.

Just pointing out the flaw in your hypothetical...

Also, did you know that A.J. Hawk married Brady Quinn's sister?
