steerforth: halloran: Come on people... this isn't real. It's someone making fun of homeschoolers.

Newspapers insist on a full name, address and daytime telephone number before considering printing a letter to the editor. And yes, they ring up and check, so it's real.

And as we all know, it is impossible to lie on the telephone.

If the ducks "get you in the end", that would be bestiality, Jasmin, not homosexuality. Ask your homeschool teacher to explain that to you, preferable with pictures, then report back to us.

Gleemax: Okay, I want to weigh in on the homeschooler thing. I was homeschooled until middle school, at which point I went to a private Baptist school, and public high school after that. So I have a pretty good understanding of all 3 school systems. That said, homeschoolers are generally more articulate and literate than their public and private school contemporaries. When I entered middle school, I was reading at a college sophomore (14th grade for you public school products.) My parents encouraged me to think for myself and do research on a topic before writing one word about it. How many of you can say that about the school system you were forced into? Did you get educated or did you get schooled? Let me guess, "Memorize this and barf it up on a test sheet," "Don't ask why! Why doesn't matter!" Sound familiar? While this little girl's reasoning is far from logical, don't be a dumb troll and act like homeschoolers are super-conservative, hard-core christians who still act like we are in the 1800s.

Someone sounds a tad sensitive on the whole subject.

Wow looks like her stringent homeschool education hasn't covered logic, reasoning, the meaning of fallacy, correlation vs. causation, or numerous other higher thought processes which a 14y/o kid should have been exposed to already. Wow, there's a surprise.

MFAWG: Honestly, what the fark is going to happen to these kids when they have to go out and function in the reality based universe?

They become senators.
