You never hear about the Secret Service or the CIA, though they both command millions if not billions out of the federal budget, every year, year after year after year, until they're raping hookers in South America.

/how do you rape a hooker? refuse to pay after services are rendered? Do hookers demand payment up front?
//never paid for sex -- lol at people who pay for sex

I could just imagine the look on cops face when he found the ID.

/also, the plane ride back to DC was probably fun for him!

This is an interesting story but I wish they would have made some attempt to link to the story about the COLOMBIAN HOOKER SCANDAL.

This is the New York Daily News. It's sensasional.
Interesting tidbit: There are more people smoking cigarettes in front of the Daily News building on 42nd street than anywhere in the city.

When the officer tried to stir the sleeping Secret Service man, he allegedly got belligerent -- hitting the cop on the chin.
Engler was charged with two misdemeanors, disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest without violence.

What, wait?

Yeah, that struck me (pardon the pun) as well.

I used to work with some ex-NSA guys. I imagine the Secret Service is the same way. It's a stressful job. when you go home you can't talk to your family when you need to blow off steam. So they're all pretty much alcoholics because that's the only way they can deal with the stress.

He hit the cop in the chin, but is being charged with resisting arrest without violence?

I realize the distinction doesn't matter to most, but this guy was a member of the Secret Service Uniformed Division. He's not an agent at all, more like a glorified traffic cop.

Oh, believe me on this one. If you have ever had sex, you paid for it.

Sure you can. You tell the kids you work for the USDA, and although the eldest has seen through that one he still pretends along with it. The old lady's a foreign national. That doesn't help either. Luckily, I mostly do engineering stuff she wouldn't be interested in anyway, sort of like her marine biology and me. So you talk about stuff you can talk about, lots of small talk, no details, she's not interested in systems integration anyway.

/not NSA or SS
//you say "stuff" a lot
///we were working on this stuff, and Joe didn't redtag the breakers - so while he was in there, someone flipped them back on - they tell me they can save his ring finger anyway

i.e. someone called in a favor/blue line. This will likely end the guy's career anyway, no need to rub it in.

No, I heard about the Secret Service because Valerie Jarrett gets 24/7 protection. So those extra millions are going to protect an Obama friend. Not a cabinet official, not his Chief of Staff, just an aide.

Don't know who Valerie Jarrett is? Don't worry, neither does the rest of America. But she gets Secret Service protection, just because.

You don't pay for the sex, you pay for them to go away and keep their mouths shut.

/If the SS understood that, there wouldn't have been a scandal.

Hey, no big deal. It happens to the best of us. The Secret Service IS suppose to be the best of us, right? There you go, proves my point.

Drugs, dude. He's either one them, or needs to be on them.
