The headline makes it sound like Democrats watch Sponge Bob or something. Yes, those are cartoons technically but they're not what you think of when you say "people watch cartoons"... That makes you think of Cartoon Network or something.

As if I didn't already hate Republicans enough already, they watch GOLF on TV?

While we are talking about guilty pleasures.... My wife watches a lot of the "Real Housewife" shows. I would never turn it on to watch, but the New Jersey version of the show I actually enjoy. And I hate myself for it.

I used to watch House. Law & Order a long time ago, or maybe if there's a re-run on or something. This new show "Elementary" might be interesting, I don't know yet. I feel like it's not going to last.

Golf watching libbo here checking in. Golf is awesome for a Saturday hangover. The voices are quiet, the camera moves slowly, and there's no fast action to overstimulate a pounding head.

I get it that people think it's boring, but I play so that's probably why I like it. NASCAR is a hundred times more boring than golf. A bunch of stilted, tiny white guys, half of whom are related to each other, driving identical cars in a circle for hours on end. It's like a family reunion at a go-kart track except a go-kart track occasionally has right turns. They even have little family tiffs.

One of the best shows on TV right now.

Well they can't exactly play their own game of golf, too many minorities working at the country club these days, plus their Rascal gets terrible traction on the course.

And Republicans tend to watch N.C.A.A. basketball, while Democrats prefer the National Basketball Association.

Good taste in TV requires just not watching very much TV at all, or broadening your potential TV viewing to include foreign shows (which are still 90% crap per Sturgeon's Law, but you at least get a larger number to multiply by 10%).
