They also suggested delineating what we will do with the monies should we not reach our goal. When I get home I will update the pitch stating that all monies in excess of the Trans Am purchase, expenses and delivery will be split amongst the 4 charities pro rata. Should we not receive enough money to buy a Trans Am, the monies will still be split amongst the charities pro rata.

If any of you have suggestions for anything other than this please let me know now.

First, I was "That's funny!", then I was "Hey, some people seem like they want this to happen...", then I was "Holy crap, they're actually doing this", "Then I was "HOLY CRAP, this is getting picked up by news sources", now I'm "Well, this could actually work out for everybody involved and be a great thing!"

Keep the fire burning under this thing so that by Monday we have proven it's not just an Internet gag, but a real initiative. That way it will get more press, more donations, more TF subscriptions for Drew, and be more likely to get buy-in from the charities, The Onion, Biden and Obama, and whoever else sees the goodness and wants to be a part of it.

If Indiegogo is offering help "in any way they can" then jump on that stat! I'm sure they have a twitter account and they could promote this even more themselves not only on their site but in professional press communication. Hell, I get at least 1 email a week from them highlighting different causes. Get on that!
