City spokeswoman Nicole Clegg says the signs are a safety precaution and changing it could have led to driver distraction.

Zombie warning signs are more informative and less distracting than the electronic signs we have in Massachusetts.

Call me crazy, but I think the zombie warning is directly related to the huge blue eyeball found washed up on the beach near Fort Lauderdale.

According to that show, the only thing more dangerous than hordes of zombies are armed women and their highly emotional decisions.

Then again... everyone acts impulsively in a zombie apocalypse:

SPOILERY SPOILER SPOILS TEH SPOILITUDE!!!

Leaving some blank space...

Some more...

Who here thinks they'll have the balls to shoot him in the face if they get to the 5th or 6th season? I'm looking forward to that. Also looking forward to Lori hopefully getting brutally murdered this season...again, if they have the balls. I hate almost every two-dimensional character in this horribly-written piece of garbage, and only watch because the wife's into it. Hopefully they start following the books again, and kill of that c*nt Lori and shoot Carl right in his goddamn face.

END OF SPOILEDERY SPOILERAGE!!!

she has, what I call, a biatch face. her face just betrays how much of a biatch she is... and it probably makes it necessary for her to be a biatch. it's not about being ugly or attractive, it's just a way of holding her face that just screams, I am a horrible person. (other lady in showbiz with this face is that lady on weeds).

Kuroshin: END OF SPOILEDERY SPOILERAGE!!!

Not a chance of the show following the books that closely with Carl.

By this time in the comics, Carl was already a badass. He didn't kill zombie-Shane, he shot motherfarking Shane. There was also a couple instances where he did what needed to be done. The show has shown that they're too chicken to really do anything tough with Carl and keep him around as no more than a plot object.

As for Lori, even if they do follow the comic, I'm guessing nothing big will happen with her this season. They easily have two seasons worth of material for the prison, just from the comic story. I wouldn't be surprised if they stretched it to a third to keep down the costs of building more sets.

Why the hatred for Carl? I'm in the middle of season 2 on Netflix and can't see anything wrong with him, aside from the fact of certain comments he makes. Even those are understandable considering the world that they now live in.

Being that the story is from Maine and involves zombies, I would have gone for a Pet Sematary reference.

THIS. He's a mostly-normal kid being forced to grow up fast in a horrendously farked up world.

I don't find the characters to be particularly two-dimensional, they're just real average people in a world gone to shiat. Guess what, real life isn't a Heinlein novel where all the protagonists are physically perfect super-genius polymaths with interesting back stories and turbocharged sex drives. The vast majority of people in real life are uninteresting and two dimensional.

Who cares? Carl's just going to get them killed. For their own sakes, I hope they have a separate story arc and stay as far the hell away as they can from that murderous psychopath.

Everyone hates Carl because he constantly disobeys clear instructions to stay out of danger, wanders off, and gets people eaten. About half the casualties are attributable to Carl farking up.

Daryl is definetly the my favorite personality on that show.

I'm betting 2:1 that Daryl end-up killing his own brother if said character returns to the show.

Pretty much like any pre-pubescent child would, given conditions they are not capable of dealing with. Blame the parenting.

See, I disagree - If Carl had never seen a zombie, and just was told "stay here, it's safe" for no apparent (to him) reason, then I could see him wondering off. But, having seen people killed, torn apart, rotting, etc., I really don't think most kids would be all "I'm going to go where I want to, stupid parents!" I'd be more likely to believe they would go hide in a closet and refuse to leave at all - even when told to.

Yeah, I don't think they'll do it either. I just really want to see what would happen in the media if they ran with it. The whole Shane thing was a debacle that interfered with Rick's development as a character. Now they're trying to force-feed us Rick becoming a psychopath over the course of a single day. Nuh-uh, sorry, ain't buying it. Without that long, slow build it just isn't believable. This show is poo.

Does make me wonder how they're going to handle the Governor though.

No, they aren't. Real people aren't that pants-on-head retarded all the time, sticking to a single character trait like it's their life's mission. Real people have at least a semblance of complexity, even if they're rather shallow. These characters are poorly-drawn caricatures, even by comic book standards. It's the same problem that kept me from getting into LOST. If I spend more than five minutes at a stretch watching the show intently, I end up with a migraine from yelling at the screen.

It's just really poor. Does a disservice to the source material.

I agree with you to a certain point. I believe that the characteristics of that child come forth to determine how they react to situations. Not all children are going to flee from the zombies. Some of them will want to fight, especially if the situation comes up to protect the family. For example, when I was younger, I would flee when my father would physical abuse my mother. As I was getting older and seeing such horrendous actions against her, I fought him to protect her. No doubt I was not capable of winning against him, but I still put that fear aside and went after him with an irrational mindset because she mattered more than my personal safety, even if that meant that my mother would invoke more anger from my father in the long run. I just didn't think of it that way.
