Honest Bender: Being super smart seems really awesome until you realize that you're trapped on this rock with morons. Seriously. It's like Idiocracy every day for me.

/Drugs help.

Wait until it's a jury room. That's when you want to cut your wrists.

How do these child actors get away with testing out? Is that a CA thing? I wanted to test out and start college when I was in my early teens, but my state wouldn't let me until I was 16...since I was already a senior when I turned 16 I just rode it out and graduated.

/school was 25 miles from home...sucked not being able to drive.

High IQ is overrated. It makes it more painful to watch the idiots line up and vote to push this country down the economic toilet because they want nice things but don't want to work for them. It's painful to watch Idiocracy become inevitable reality on a daily basis.

Halstread: Shadowtag: What's the old adage about having to be smart to play stupid? Oh, it's that.

Wait, does it work in reverse? Harrison Ford seems to be "stupid" in any interview I have seen of him, however, he sures does pull off "smart" in roles.

Harrison Ford dropped out of RIPON for chrissakes!

/Old saying in the upper Midwest: "If you can't go to college, go to Ripon." At least that became the saying after it was clear that Milton was circling the drain.

Clever reference to "idiocracy," genius.

Oh look elvin thinks he is smart, and therefore from the entire history of arts, land iterature makes a snide reference to a "b" movie that is the absolute favorite of the basement dweller crowd. Let me guess all the jocks who used to bully you work in the produce section where you pick up your lettuce after seven and half hours in a cubicle.

cefm: To be fair, most moderately intelligent middle-schoolers could also graduate from highschool at age 13 if all they have to do is take a test and read some books.

He may or may not be very smart, but this story doesn't swing it one way or the other.

It isn't uncommon for young actors to do the same thing. It has to do with the logistics of a shooting schedule, not IQ.

7th Son of a 7th Son: Good god, Ariel Winter is only 14.
