Holy fark. He actually says that. If Obama grows a set, I suggest he play that one out in the next debate.

Well, they just die because they are too lazy to go to the emergency room to get free treatment.

When he said "WE don't have people", he was specifically referring to his own family. Although the exact circumstances of Bapp's death are still a little unclear.

I was diagnosed as diabetic when I was homeless and had medical insurance. That insurance paid for my drugs.
Now I am employed by one of those highly vaunted "small businesses", but I cannot afford insurance on what I get paid, so I can't afford the drugs anymore

/do you think if I go to the ER they'll fill my prescriptions for me?

I have several friends who are ER doctors - one commented to me recently about a poor mexican family who brought in their daughter with an ear ache. He saw her and then wrote a prescription for an antibiotic and sent them on their way. They were back a several days later and the girl's infection had gone septic and was now life-threatening. They didn't have any money to fill the prescription - how farked up is that?

/ I'm sure Republican Jesus would prefer that we simply deport the illegals to Mexico and reduce healthcare costs...

To be fair to the mods, there is nobody on the entire earth who actually thinks Ryan and Romney have any mental awareness of human suffering except for the possible market forces it will likely create. Soldiers are heroes - hypothetically, of course. Real ones, who need medical treatment, are much less photogenic. Obvious headline is obvious.
