I like how the kid doesn't get what the big deal is. Welcome to America where everyone gets 15 minutes of fame for something, kid! Too bad yours is being carried across a finish line because you couldn't do it yourself. Them's the breaks.

Really nice story :)

It seems like the kid's leg keeps giving him problems...maybe an organization like the Shriners can help him out and get him a better quality prostetic leg?
