kroonermanblack: I will say I moderately agree with this. There are a few GLARING exceptions to this rule, who I think have been, in the past, politely asked to stop because they were farming the nerds for cash and it was disruptive to entire threads.

They were good people, and I enjoyed the 'not AW' posts they made, but the AW stuff really did kill things or lock down threads. Even Dirk couldn't save 'em, bless his soul.

I know who you're talking about, and even her, a self-admitted AW, I think was not doing anything out of line or being "disruptive" in any way... She made threads better, without fail... The fact that hundreds of idiots posted nothing but "BIE? EIP!" over and over in every thread she appeared in is not her fault... Do you blame Dirk for all the similar people in this thread asking for the pics he took? Is he being a "disruptive" AW? I certainly don't think so... And, "farming the nerds for cash"? Huh, you mean like maybe charging $5 a month to get a special tag next to your name? Or, how about selling funny t-shirts and junk from the handy ads to the right of your screen?
