Through the glass door, 80-year-old Lorene Jones Orr saw her sons arguing. She went to her bedroom and grabbed her .38 Special.

As opposed to to her firing a shot through a concrete window?

He remained Tuesday at the Land O'Lakes jail

No doubt they'll butter him up until he confesses.

Headline is misleading. She was motivating an assailant, who happened to be a son, to leave her and her other son alone. It isn't like she just saw her sons arguing and fired a shot to make them stop. She'd already been physically assaulted beforehand.

Okay, everyone biatching about Texas and Arizona tags? This is the standard. Your state must be at least this derpy to get a tag. Ready? Go!

SquiggsIN: the wife's company has an open position in Florida she's considering and the father-in-law has offered me a position in his company if we decide to relocate...

headlines like these make me wonder if it's worth it to move to Florida. (at least my home state doesn't have it's own tag (yet))

I recommend moving to Florida if you're from Indiana. It has many advantages over most states like no income taxes, etc. I loved growing up there with the beaches, rivers, springs, and the climate. I plan to return for my retirement eventually. We have our craziness, yes. But it's part of the charm, like weird people in Key West.

The weird people in Key West are mostly harmless. Elected politicians are another story, and they're mostly from elsewhere in the state.
