"Wait a minute...you're blind!?"
"Yes, officer, I am...can't see a thing."
"Then why the hell are you driving?"
"Because I'm the only one that's sober enough..."

Hero?! Really? People with disabilities aren't idiots that need to be praised for every little thing that they do and it is in fact quite condescending when strangers feel the need to congratulate them like they are a 2 year old who just learned to poop in the toilet on their own.

Subby, there's a difference between roller skates and roller blades!

Sweet!

I played for Wasatch before I moved to Honolulu. Gonna start skating with Pacific but I'm coming off an injury. Busted up my knee a little playing coed; a huge guy fell on me.

I think we have a couple new skaters in the league that transferred in from Wasatch. I couldn't tell you their names, all I ever see is color/number/penalty.

He's blind? Huh.

Didn't know that.

As someone who loves to rollerskate, I can't imagine losing my sight. Even with outdoor wheels, a medium sized rock could lock them up. That's brave of him. Skating fast would pretty much be out of the question. :(
