5. Venture and adventure
"Most of [the businessman's] travel will be by air, and he will week-end in Asia or Africa."

The 2nd part is true for my friend who works at Delta. But that's the only reason it's true.

4. Hands-free eats
"His breakfast may come from the communal kitchen by tubes."

You know, if you are going to writing about predictions, you should probably have a CLUE.
The tubes they were talking about were NOT packaging.
They were talking about the delivery method. Pneumatic Tubes.

Sheeeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The television teleconference is true. If you discount that one because a smartphone or a computer monitor isn't a television you might be splitting h airs. There is no significant difference between a television and a computer monitor. The difference between a smartphone and a television is that a smartphone can do more than just display video.

Before you could use a television to make videocalls you would need to add a microphone, a camera, a way to select, or "dial", the correct person and add a data output to the existing screen. Suddenly it has a lot more in common with a modern smartphone than it does a modern television.

Twenty years from now we'll be laughing over the absurd space tourism, Mars colony and 3D printed cars delusions.

Where's my "too cheap to meter" fission-powered electricity? Where's my ten hour workweek leisure society??
