There's a happy kid in that photograph. She's young, cute, has her whole life ahead of her.
Of course it turns out to be a string of disappointments, con-men and assholes. This whole thing
is just sad - like looking at photos of Lee Harvey Oswald as a smiling kid with his dog. What
the hell is the point of living when the best you can hope for is to not get dumped in a sterile room
somewhere, left to die? Or, you know, getting plugged by Jack Ruby in a parking garage.

I can see having kids. People fark and get pregnant and don't get an abortion for whatever reason. But buying a dog is a conscious choice.

If history has taught us anything, it's that you can't stop the wrong people from farking each other.
