lunchinlewis: gmikes: It's about time the Yankees win an October game in a big, big way. Two-year-old boys have been waiting their whole lives for this

Seeing the Yankees pour out of the 1st base dugout in the playoffs never gets old.

Too bad the New York "fans" didn't see it since they all left during the 7th inning stretch.

After watching that game last night, I definitely don't want to hear Yankee fans talk about how Oriole fans are fake fans. They stayed in their seats even after Johnson gave up five in the 8th.

As an A's fan (going to the game tomorrow), this has got to be one of the greatest posts I've ever read on FARK. Obviously I'm biased.

I'm too lazy and drunk right now to search the internet for a picture of an elephant raping a tiger. But imagine it here. Imagine it, Detroit.

Leyland hates stats. Downs was more effective versus both LH and RH, especially in the 2nd half, than Coke. Coke was giving up a near .400 BA to RH by the end of the season. He's just... lost his touch I think.

buckeyebrain: Leyland, NOOOOOOO! You are so not bringing Coke in right now!!!!!!

Some day you're going to accept the fact that crazy old men sometimes do crazy old man things.

I swear this bullpen is going to give Leyland a heart attack so big that his exploding ribcage will take out half a city block.

And just think: the difference between winning and losing for the Yankees was sitting A-Rod the fark down.

Yeah, the only thing un-Mets like about it was the part where it happened in the postseason.

Let's do this shiat.

what pathological psychos rooted for Darth Vader while watching Star Wars??

Well since Larry Lucchino decided to call the Yankees "The Evil Empire", the Yankee fans said fark it and embraced the moniker.

Basically, we used our aggressive feelings and let the hate flow through us.

So while us Yankees fans are worrying about the possibility that the season comes down to Phil Hughes, the Nationals are almost certainly going to have their season come down to Ross Detwiler vs Kyle Lohse.

When did Chris Carpenter learn to hit? He's 2-2 with a single and a double so far off Jackson. Hopefully they can get him home and tack on another.

How's that Strasburg benching working out for you Davy?

I want to watch baseball. I love baseball.

Why am I being punished for loving baseball?

Why must I listen to Bob Costas?
