Olympic Trolling Judge: And just think: the difference between winning and losing for the Yankees was sitting A-Rod the fark down.

I'm sure that won't be mentioned at all in the press or on the internets.

/Good game putrescent globules of evil Yankees Raul Ibanez.

They should've caught that.

A rain out would be really, really helpful to my sleep patterns. A long delay would be bad.

I'm a transplanted New Yorker (Yankee Fan), living in Maryland for the past 6 years. I've always been a Yankee fan, but being in Baltimore, and watching the Orioles play at Camden they started to grow on me. Up until this season it way always like, oh you rascally Orioles, you're so darn adorable thinking you can win. Then all of a sudden they actually start playing well. At the end of the season I was pulling for the Yankees to win the Division and the Orioles to win the Wildcard. As this series has played out i'm still not sure who I want to. Tonight part of me is going, HA HA HA HA Yankee's win again on something that no one thinks is allowed to happend. And another part of me is thinking, F*CK Ibañez, and F*CK the Yankees, that SH*T did not just happen. I'm truly torn.

They should make baseball caps for people who feel like they are transitioning between two teams. The back of the cap can have your old team logo (cause it's behind you), and the front of the cap will have the new team logo (because they're your future). And you can always where the hat backwards when you go to the games of your original team.

Yes I know, cool story.

Amazing how the fortunes of the Yankees changed when they benched one former Mariner who was born in NYC but grew up in Miami for another.

I'm not sure that, that is an ok thing to say.

Now if only Oakland can mount a comeback, all of the teams I'm rooting for will have won today - 3/4 is not bad - 1/4 would have been fine, as long as it was the Yankees, so I'm pleased. But go Oakland!

No. Choose. But choose wisely.

I'm a Tigers fan with a ticket to a potential Game 5 in enemy territory, and my employees don't know whether I'm going to be in tomorrow. The last thing I need now is a rain delay.

LOL @ Suzyn Waldman - when she got Ibanez on the field to interview him, she said, "Hey Raul, how's it going? Anything new with you?"

yanno.. I can't put my finger on it, but there seems to be a stark contrast in defense at 1B between the Yankees and Tigers....

Actually, that's probably the problem. We need Kate Hudson back. Muse is on tour right now, right? Surely she's gotta be lonely...

i'm not sure if that's stephen drew's fault or mike gallego's fault. but one of them is an idiot

Amazing. The only reason Raul is still hanging on in the majors is because he's so damn well-liked. He's a shadow of what he once was. Couldn't have happened to a better guy though.

I think I have a Ibanez rookie card kicking around somewhere.... probably should sell that tomorrow.

2012-10-10 11:43:24 PM
Mike Gallego is the A's third base coach. I remember when he played for the Yankees. I'm pretty sure he wore #2.

How is Boesch in the dugout? Do they just let anyone in there?

Get this... .197/.246/.246 versus lefties this year. NO homeruns. And he hits his first one off Matsuz tonight.

Know what that tells me? That this wasn't a Binder call. This was a "A-Rod sucks ass" call.

Oh great, Phil, awesome.
