Tenorman's Tears: Again... this is what Republicans actually believe

I remember reading the Playboy interview with Rush Limbaugh (90 something, only one he did) where he was asked about jail for first time marijuana users.
His response was, of course, an affirmative.
When the interviewer reminded Limbaugh of his past admission of having "tried" marijuana, and if he felt he should have done jail time, Limbaugh's response,
"No" because "I'm a Conservative".
Limbaugh then yelled at the interviewer for asking a gotcha' question.

I will always remember this exchange in the interview I read because it literally floored me.

I remember when Obama was elected people trashing things in the street claiming the police couldn't arrest them because Obama was president now. I also remember them saying they wouldn't have to worry about paying their mortgage or car payment because he was elected.

Did you guys forget about that so soon?

Republican + murder = First Lady for 8 years. Also from wikipedia.
On the night of November 6, 1963, Laura Welch ran a stop sign, causing a fatal car accident that killed her friend in another car.[8][9] The driver of the other car was her close friend and classmate Michael Dutton Douglas. By some accounts, he had been Welch's boyfriend at one time.[10] Welch and her passenger, both 17, were treated for minor injuries.[11] According to the accident report released by the city of Midland in 2000, in response to an open-records request, she was not charged in the incident.[11][12] Bush's spokesman said, "It was a very tragic accident that deeply affected the families and was very painful for all involved, including the community at large."[11] In her book Spoken from the Heart, she says that the accident caused her to lose her faith "for many, many years".[13]

Headso: After the woman told Morgan she was a Republican, he told her that he couldn't just leave - a statement she reportedly argued, according to the officer's narrative of the encounter. The report said Hunziker kicked, screamed and struggled as Morgan and a backup officer tried to handcuff her and place her in the squad car.

Well it worked in getting her preferential treatment, she normally would have been beaten, pepper sprayed, tasered, and shot with a beanbag shotgun round.

See, this is why I'd make a terrible cop. After spending god knows how long just getting this obnoxious drunk biatch out of the restaurant, her constant screaming, kicking and struggling would result in a nightstick across her face, and investigation from IA, and me out of work.

But it would have been worth it.

i did read it doof. and while it is not untrue, it (specifically the "or" in the Weeners) reveals ignorance because anyone that actually knew the senate is part of congress would not explicitly separate it. i bet you 50 cents this guy has gone through life thinking we have congress and the senate rather than a congress comprised of a house and a senate.

Newt Gingrich had a nearly identical moment. Same thing, only he railed at the interviewer about how the reason that people smoke weed had changed, and how it was a completely moral thing to do when he did it, whatever that means.

Ignoring those who have a different opinion than yourself is a bit defeating. In order for one to grow, one must evolve, and in order to evolve, one must have access to more than just one set of facts.

You sure that wasn't after a Lakers game? You can usually tell by the flaming WalMart cart and broken shop windows.

None of that kind of thing happened in my area. I do remember the Mormons were blasting their car horns and holding the sucky version of parties in the streets over the passage of Prop 8, though. That was annoying. It was my nap time, for pity's sake!
