TheEndIsNigh: Close enough; the choice of which charities to support can be a religious one just as easily as the choice of which semi-religious holidays to celebrate. I give to the company UW campaign, but I'd give more if the charities I actually work with were able to receive that money, and I don't need the guilt-trip presentation. It's been a while since I've worked in a department that expected me to watch it, and my contribution is up because of it.


I'm not religious at all but I love Halloween, Christmas etc.. Holidays that get the family together. I couldn't care less if they're religious holidays. that's not what I enjoy about them. My point is, I don't care if what you're pitching is religious, moral or financial support. Don't try and tell me what to support or celebrate.
