Gene Masseth Jr.: Said fan needs to realize that Punk didn't intentionally mean to hit HIM, but that Punk was being assaulted by the people around him and simply fought back like any normal person would.

There really isn't any excuse for punching the first person you see in the face.

SearchN: globalwarmingpraiser: Owangotang: globalwarmingpraiser: If Punk as hit in the kidney, he probably started swinging. That is both dangerous and painful. To wit, I hit my ex wife sounds like a biatch move and makes me sound like an abuser. I hit my ex wife after she bit me on the forehead while I was asleep and I came up swinging is different.

/actually happened.

Yikes, that sounds like a bad night.

I married the crazy. I wo the custody fight though.

Mind telling me how? Don't want to thread jack so EIP but I do need some advice for a friend.

Email wouldn't go through.

The most important thing is to get a good lawyer, leave first, and take said child with you. It is easy to get away and immediately have the respondent served. As a male having custody immediately grants you control. Having a judge issue an OP to establish and maintain the status quo is the next move. This needs to be done ASAP. Be prepared to have some vacation time available during this so the mother can't take the child from your new domicile. Until status quo is established you have to be with the child. The mother can otherwise take control of the situation.'Plan ahead, be ruthless, and remember that if it is that bad, you're not parting as friends anyway.

Maybe it's just me but I fail to see how Punk is the one in the wrong.

He's the top guy in the company right now and, because of how the storyline has gone, the most hated. WWE fans are uneducated trash (99% at least) who can't see "characters". Punk is a bad guy so they hate him. So the bad guy runs into the stands with the people that hate him and said morons start messing with him and basically assaulting him. One fan tries to grab the title from him and Punk slaps his hand away. Another guy shoves Punk from behind so Punk turns around and shoves him back. Then, some nameless, faceless asshat comes up from behind Punk and smacks him in the back of the head. Punk loses his cool (rightfully so) and turns around and clocks the person he thought did it. Was it the wrong guy? Yeah. Does that instantly make it wrong on his part? No. He fought back and there is nothing wrong with fighting back.

I liken it to this scenario: The Red Sox and the Yankees are playing for the AL Pennant and the game is in Boston with a heated crowd. A-Rod chases down a foul ball and leaps into the crowd to corral it. When he gets up and shows his glove, a Red Sox fan tries to knock the glove out of his hand. Another fan shoves him from behind. A 3rd fan reaches forward and smacks him in the back of the head. A-Rod, getting attacked by the people around him, turns around and decks someone. Is A-Rod in the wrong? No.

I'd do the same thing. You cheap-shot me in the back of the head I'm gonna turn around and clock someone.

Said fan needs to realize that Punk didn't intentionally mean to hit HIM, but that Punk was being assaulted by the people around him and simply fought back like any normal person would. If he has second guesses about what happened he can just watch the video he is in and see what happened and what led to it and say "Oh, well, I don't blame him then. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time thanks to the jackasses around me."

Bam. Done. Story over.

my lip balm addiction: Masterstuff: MattyFridays: It's amazing.

DBD "assaults" another talent as part of the gimmick and he gets fired.

Punk literally pops someone - which is the E's fault for not securing him properly - and no harm, no foul, here's your settlement, please we need Linda to win.

Oh BOY I hope DBD remembers this when it's time for his big angle against Punk.

I may be wrong, but wasn't the Nexus invasion in the midst of the Linda running for office/PG hoopla? It wasn't WWE who pushed for DB's firing, it was Mattel or some company like that. I mean, as soon as they could they brought DB right back and thrust him into a storyline in a PPV.

MattyFridays:
(seriously, is DBD/Kane going to be the payoff at Wrestlemania?)

[DB_Yes.gif]

Who did he get in trouble for "assaulting" again? That was such a stupid time in WWE with Cole acting like the biggest asshiole in the world that I tuned out for a couple weeks.

DBD did what everyone who has ever heard Howard Finkel introduce a wrestler has wanted to do, and choked Justin Roberts with his own tie.

Ok, FWC, if this happened to you and you weren't really in the "I need lots of money" situation; what would you have WWE do. Basically Vince is willing to let you get through one idea that makes television, here are the cavets:
1) Vince can undo it later from continuity but it must happen
2) It can be attitude era, but it has to be something that could air on Raw
3) It can be a short-time push within reason over just one item/match/aspect or a "moment that must occur in 3 months or less"
4) Has to be something you can map out how it would happen (i.e. not bring back a dead person and laying them in the ring)
What would you choose WWE? What would you choose?

Licensed music for every Superstar's entrance, starting with giving Daniel Bryan "The Final Countdown" by Europe. ^_^

HHH/Steph come out and reintroduce Johnny Ace, who claims that he has scored his biggest talent get ever - Shane-O-Mac. Shane comes out, declares a new era for WWE. Vince interrupts, only to find out that Steph, HHH, and Shane combined their ownership stakes to buy out Vince, with Linda's blessing.

With Shane now in charge, he immediately announces all titles are vacated, and elimination tournaments will be setup to crown new champions, including Divas.

That's WCW Booking.

Titles don't become vacant just because someone new takes over. It devalues them. And in WWE, where the belts are already pretty much worthless, you don't devalue them further.
