Bill Murray said I was weird: Or are you actually trying to say Ann Coulter is in no way whatsoever a hatemonger?

/Forgot to add that part previously

Yeah, I don't see that to be the case at all. She's intelligent and she has a sense of humor. She pokes fun at the hypocrisy of liberals & documents it with examples from history. She makes a lot of sense.

As Ann pointed out, her book isn't about minorities, but about a long history of tonedeaf white liberals pretending to be the spokesmen for minorities while at the same time releasing torrents of racist hate against black conservatives.

"After President George W. Bush appointed Condoleezza Rice the first black female secretary of state, she was maligned in racist cartoons portraying her as Aunt Jemima, Butterfly McQueen from "Gone With the Wind," a fat-lipped Bush parrot and other racist cliches.

Kevin Baker didn't notice any of that because he was working on his theory that referring to your sons is racist.

When Michael Steele ran for senator from Maryland, he was depicted in blackface and with huge red lips by liberal blogger Steve Gilliard. Sen. Charles Schumer's Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee dug up a copy of Steele's credit report -- something done to no other Republican candidate.

Is that more or less racist than Romney mentioning his sons? More or less racist than the word "apartment"?

Mia Love, a black Republican running for Congress in Utah had her Wikipedia page hacked with racist bile, heavy on the N-word. Her campaign headquarters has been bombarded with racist graffiti and slimy mailings with pictures of Klansman next to photos of her family. "

Rann Xerox: I can't wait for Hollywood to adapt Larry Niven's novel "Protector".

Just a little make-up and Ann Coulter will be a great Phssthpok.

No need to insult Niven's work that way. Although, I do think she would make an excellent Skeksis if anyone wanted to do a non-muppet "Dark Crystal."

loved those books.

When I was working at a grocery store in my 20s, I labeled the yams "Tree of Life Root" for a day to see if anybody noticed.

They didn't

RminusQ: Dear liberals (specifically you yes you white male straight liberals):
Knock it off with the Ann Coulter gay/man jokes. You're actually insulting all gay/trans people, not just by lumping the hateful Ann Coulter in with them, but by implying that their state is one they should be ashamed to be in. You are the very definition of not helping.

Oh boy, is it the daily thread where The Usual Suspects show up to remind us that All Liberals are sexist misogynists who continually spew virulent hate-filled attacks at Strong, Conservative Women, and that no Conservative would ever, ever, EVER do likewise toward Whoremongering Liberal Slutbags?

Awesome.

No no, the state of being Ann Coulter is something to be ashamed of, it hardly matters where you fall on the gender spectrum.

Remember folks.

It's OK to judge women by their appearances, just don't insinuate it's a mannish appearance. That's wrong.

I have to agree. It's not helping, and it's meanspirited and overlooking the fact that she's an evil creature.

That said, considering how often conservatives keep talking about the PC police and how people are overly sensitive, it does seem like their skin is ridiculously thin.

Do you think rminusq is a conservative ?

No, I just think you are and the vast majority of people complaining about things like "all the misogynist attacks on female GOP members?" are the exact same ones who complain about how mean saying anti-women legislation over the last year is a "war on women" is and are always the first to cry about the race card and the PC police when any attempt to look at issues facing women and minorities is made.

I actually agree with RMinusQ on this point, though I've been quiet about it. It doesn't change the fact that people like you are sanctimonious, thin-skinned hypocrites.

100% correct.

Since when has Fark been a bastion of political correctness?

If you think the joke is tired so be it. But coming here and complaining about lack of sensitivity? Gimme a break.

It's not limited to Fark and it has nothing to do with political correctness. It's about hypocrisy.

It's okay. If you're a Republican nothing you say or do is ever racist, sexist, or hurtful. And if anyone says it is they're playing the race card or being an overly sensitive liberal or trying to be the PC police.

Another book that builds more straw men than the Wizard of Oz costume department.

Does she still footnote her books with references to her other books as "proof" of her statements?
