DigitalCoffee: TSA; another wonderful idea brought to you by the same Republicans that had other wonderful ideas like putting corn juice in your gas tank, abstinence only sex-ed, and NCLB.

/someone tell me again why this race will be close
//derpy and ineffective always wins over bat-shiat insane and authoritarian

The race will be close because a lot of people are recognizing that BOTH main candidates (Romney and Obama) are derpy and ineffective, bat-shiat insane authoritarians.

"Every passenger is a potential terrorist and we won't stop until no terrorists board a plane." -- TSA

/"Then we're after trains, buses and private automobiles."

fredbox: You can bet your sweet ass that the next time terror strikes the domestic airways, a TSA employee will be found to be involved.

You can bet your sweet ass that the next time an attack gets by the TSA (It didn't on 9/11. Pre-TSA security all did what they were supposed to do) the reaction will never be "The TSA is failure" it'll be "the same TSA will do mandatory 100% nude strip searches, brain probes, and DNA tests."

//The shoe bomber and the undie bomber got through. The TSA did jack squat to stop them.

There have got to be a few of you nasty farks that are hot enough to make me want to poke you in the ass gash, so post some photos of yourselves for my viewing pleasure.

Suck it up, cancer girl, Jesus died so America could be safe and it's your patriotic duty to get your life-bags checked for bombs.

SoCalChris: Sylvia_Bandersnatch: /Amtrak is pretty cool anyway.

Amtrak is pretty cool, up until you need to go cross country or one of the hundreds of places that they don't go. Also, they're farking expensive.

/Took Amtrak from LA-Denver & back a few times when they had that service.
//Had someone call in a bomb threat on one of the trains while we were in the middle of farking no where in the Rockies, and had to stand at the side of the train for several hours while waiting for the police to get there and search the train

Amtrak is relaxing but it does take longer. I've always met great people while traveling by train.

Sometimes I miss SatireWire...

thisisyourbrainonFark: At least the TSA goons don't frighten developmentally disabled childr--oh, wait.

"She's not a threat to national security"

What a sweet looking kid. Really. That article makes me want to spend about two hours with those TSA f'ers faces and a nice supply of 30 grit. God bless that father for not cracking and ripping their heads off.

wambu: "Every passenger failed Wal Mart greeter with a badge and a taste for stolen iPads is a potential terrorist and we won't stop until no every terrorists board a plane has that badge." -- TSA

F

TSA is a disgrace and a embarrassment

Why the unholy fark did these dumbasses OPEN A FARKING DRIP BAG?!

PsiChick: Why the unholy fark did these dumbasses OPEN A FARKING DRIP BAG?!

Because potato.

vudukungfu: Oh. Holy Fark.
You farking sheep just love to be molested, don't you?

/obligatory

Pantubo: Another day in Obama's America.

Thankfully, he's a Democrat. Otherwise, people might be upset about things like this.

I'll always remember the way President Obama reacted to the Twin Towers going down on 9/11 when this whole national security uproar began. He was like "This is bullshiat, I'm beefing up the TSA right meow!"

AbbeySomeone: Amtrak is relaxing but it does take longer. I've always met great people while traveling by train.

And TSA is starting to screen Amtrak too.

But they screen passengers disembarking to rub in the fact that screening has nothing to do with security.

Jaws_Victim: Poor lady, and it happened at my airport. I hope they fire the people responsible.

AcneVulgaris: MaxAwesome: AcneVulgaris: Fromageball: TSA agents are fairly low level positions...which means they probably have asshole managers micro-managing the hell out of them, making sure they follow procedure to a T. Maybe pay them more, provide better training, don't give the managers incentive to be micro-managing dicks, etc, and maybe you'll get a more effective TSA who are capable of using better judgment in the various situations they will encounter as TSA agents and not just acting as robots following a set of rules. Maybe.

You're missing the point. It's all about keeping them off the unemployment rolls as cheaply as possible.

Why? We're paying their wages with our tax dollars anyways. I'd rather they get unemployment and don't touch my cock when I'm travelling.

This is why I always travel with a fake cock. That way, they're touching it, and I'm like "Touch my fake cock, thug! YEAH! TOUCH IT!"

I flew overseas I over the summer. Got groped leaving Houston, leaving Heathrow, returning home.

I told the guy at Heathrow to "get in there, I can take it." He wasn't nearly as amused as I was.

\end csb

Less TSA?

I want MOAR TSA!!!111eleven

I just flew through Sea-Tac about a month ago. Damn near every TSA agent was trying to play hero. They thought my button-down shirt was 1) a jacket; 2) enough of a security risk that it warranted taking off after I told them it was a shirt. If I got hassled over that, this poor woman had no chance. I hope she sues the pants off of them.

(Thank God for undershirts.)

/ And don't get me started on the general level of "stupid" I encountered with non-security personnel.
// Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon all in the same general area
/// Do they hire all the smart people and leave the rest?

TSA?

fark em. fark em every chance you get.

And FILM them. The ONLY reason they aren't molesting little kids anymore is, IT WAS FILMED.

And NO the TSA does NOT prohibit filming, except of the actual going through their magic microwave machine, since you need to be almost naked.

She bought the plane ticket. She knew about the searches. She most likely heard of the horror stories involving the TSA. She took her chances after Americans were invited to take an alternative form of travel. And because sheeple continue to fly instead of boycott, things like this will continue to happen. So while grotesque as this incident is, the flying public is allowing it to happen with every ticket purchase.

If the TSA will not go away, just don't fly until they do. It is just that simple. Or not. Enjoy your flight.

She was going to Hawaii.

Hey. No one stopped her from taking a canoe.

Yeah, screw her. She should have just swam.

we went through the checkpoint in Charleston SC bout 12 hours ago- my brother in law had a hip
replacement three months ago and they couldn't figure out why he triggered the metal detector.
he told them five times he'd had a hip replacement. they gave him a rather unpleasant and thorough
feeldown, and he was PISSED at the whole thing. bought him a drink to help him calm down. methinks
(and hethinks) they could have simply used a wand to do it. when we left CA a week ago they put us
thru one of those full body scanners and it was quick and easy. guess they can't afford one for Charleston or something...

Mad_Radhu: If I was planning attacks for Al Queda and really wanted to fark with Americans, I'd send guys into backed up security lines at busy airports with carry-on cases full of explosives and ball bearings. It would not only have a high body count, but it would also shatter the sense of safety provided by the security theater, and would leave us scrambling trying to figure out how to secure the security checkpoints. It would be so easy to make our security methods look like a joke if they really wanted to.

Go on...

At least he lived long enough to see the TSA so he could die happy.

MaxAwesome: Why? We're paying their wages with our tax dollars anyways. I'd rather they get unemployment and don't touch my cock when I'm travelling.

Because the only number they report as representing "unemployed people" in this country is the number of people currently drawing unemployment. So they have to find other ways to funnel tax money to people but just not call it "unemployment".

At what point can you just opt out and walk away? If some TSA goon decides to disassemble my feeding tubes, that's when I draw the line and say FARK IT, I'm not going to fly. It ain't worth it. Gimme my bags and I'll just leave. Is there an option to say you refuse all searches, no longer wish to fly anywhere and want to leave the airport?

Come on, why the TSA hate? They're protecting us! See?

If it weren't for the TSA, small children, grandmothers, and other small children who are also crippled would take over the country and destroy our society and our freedoms. We NEED the TSA, don't you understand?!?

Eh, I'm calling BS on the "they denied the private screening" bit. They probably told her she'd have to wait 5 minutes until the room freed up, or something.

Also,
She called Alaska Airlines ahead of time to request a wheelchair and to ask how her medicines should be separated for the security line.

Shouldn't she have called TSA to ask about that, not the airlines?

Basily Gourt: The terrorists have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.

The actions of the TSA create a significant blow to our economy. People who want to do business inside or outside from an opposite origin will tend to attempt said business via teleconference, which is less effective, and people who would choose to vacation in the US will take their money somewhere else, to avoid being molested like an altar boy in a '60's catholic church. The TSA is an enemy of the state, manufactured entirely by the state.

Personally, I'd like to see a grassroots movement so that people within the TSA and other similarly destructive organizations are identified and blacklisted by society as a whole, and are not allowed to purchase goods of any sort from the rest of us. If they refuse to find an honorable profession, they should be forced to.

BraveNewCheneyWorld: The TSA is an enemy of the state people, manufactured entirely by the state.

FTFM.

If a presidential candidate promised to do everything in his power to eliminate the TSA, I bet voter turn-out would spike pretty hard.
Assholes.

Dude, you realize you're asking a Gov't agency to completely stop acting like a Gov't agency, don't you? Wait 'till they really get into the health care industry....

untaken_name: BraveNewCheneyWorld: The TSA is an enemy of the state people, manufactured entirely by the state.

FTFMY.

I think you meant to say :P

Anyway, No, I believe the state is the body of the people in general. In the respect that, we as the people, have let a relatively few of the people we entrusted with our government become tyrannical and abusive, you're right. They should be considered somewhat separate from the rest of us, since they act as nothing more than criminals like the mafia at this point.

You wanna fly? Fine. We're gonna make a deal, I gotta feel up your grandma, your pretty little daughter, your wife and then you.. Just business...

PsiChick: Why the unholy fark did these dumbasses OPEN A FARKING DRIP BAG?!

They aren't paid to think. Just to follow orders.

SandMann: PsiChick: Why the unholy fark did these dumbasses OPEN A FARKING DRIP BAG?!

They aren't paid to think. Just to follow orders.

You know who else just followed orders...

stuffy: And yet still no TSA tag?

They should also move their national HQ to Florida, to double up the tagging options.

I know if I want to be treated like shiat, then have my phone stolen - the TSA will be there for me. God Bless.

BraveNewCheneyWorld: I think you meant to say :P

Anyway, No, I believe the state is the body of the people in general.

Well, I wasn't trying to speak for you. :)

I believe you need to look into the difference between theory and practice. It's like a great man said, "In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is."

But then, when the nitroglycerin breast implants kill 300 people, you libs will

Sorry, I can't keep a straight face.

"Robama Sachs' gonna repeal the Patriot Act and clear out this attendant Fu*kery? No?

Just keep holding your ankles, citizen! We've got a lot of everything for you, and a lot of places to put it in!' Say thank you', citizen.

Is it Hate TAS day ? somebody forgot to tell me ...

I don't feel safe enough.

People that "supposedly" have pace makers need to have there chests cut open to verify they are in proper Freedom Compliance.

StoPPeRmobile: I don't feel safe enough.

People that "supposedly" have pace makers need to have there chests cut open to verify they are in proper Freedom Compliance.

I suggest a new gate that's made out of microwaves. Anyone who dies had a real pacemaker, and is not a suspect. Anyone who lives is summarily executed for having a fake pacemaker.

As much as I hate to say it, the only country in the world that have a real need to be worried and has a system that in fact looks to work is the Israel, when is the last time you hear a complaint about them ? and they do all the US no no's

Use profiling, ect.

Us FAA and TSA rules have kills any joy of flying to a point that makes me take the bus 7h so no need to fly
surely somebody in the US must be smart enough to see facts ? Or did they all leave ?

I know a former SAS guy that cut his teeth in Northern Ireland when the IRA was out of control and now does elite security details all over the world and he says he wouldn't hire a TSA person to even be a driver on one of his details.

IsNoGood: that makes me take the bus 7h so no need to fly

You're right about that. No need to fly to experience TSA treatment. They're on Greyhounds now, too. For now, the best bet is to rent a car and drive. Or buy a crappy car off Craigslist and just drive it and hope it makes it. That's my personal choice right now. Then I ditch 'em either on Craigslist again or to a salvage guy. It's a serious PITA and I'd much rather fly or even ride the bus, but fark the TSA.

Well No in Asia, like to see them try that, for the airports, yes they able to do the FAA / TSA thing, but not on the ground, Not Yet, when that Happen I take my motorbike or one of the cars,

I don't get it just because somebody in the US see the benefits of keep a ongoing state of permanent hysteria what do it have to do with me, last I checked US have more armed nutters than most middle east.
