Natasha was not married to Boris. Her last name is Fatale. Where is fact checker when you need them.

A fact checker is something I'd really enjoy.

"Narcoboss" is such a cool term.

So that's why my dog barks up trees. He's trying to protect me from Mexican drug cartels. Good boy!

I thought we had determined that the wife had done it; or is this a different incedent entirely?

Is this the one where they were shot while on jet skis? I don't think they ever seriously looked at the wife.

That was 40 years ago, Natasha got tired of being "common law" and made Boris make her legal obviously

I'm not a jingoist and I generally dislike chest-thumping and gunboat diplomacy, but I feel about this story the same way i feel about the death of the American Ambassador and the deaths of two CIA agents who were shot by Federales acting as hitman for another cartel: If you knowing kill or target an American citizen, you can consider yourself to have signed your own death warrant. In the interests of diplomacy, we shouldgive local authorities a decent chance to bring you in their way.

But if they can't or won't, you should never take an untroubled breath again in your hopefully short life. Every time you hear a plane engine you should be afraid that it's a drone coming for you, every motorcycle that passes you might be an assassain hired to end your life, every creak of a floorboard in the middle of the night could be the footfall of a covert-ops wetwork team coming to finish you

The wife is cute and blond, everybody knows they're the victims, not the killers.

I would have thought Commander Squirrel would stay away from Falcon Lake.

Actually, Fearless Leader commanded it. Married couples are less suspicious from an espionage standpoint.

The problem there is that the Mexican Government is somewhere between overwhelmed by the problem or bribed away from it. The odds of the Federalis bringing the guy in are distant, even with the portion of Mexican law enforcement that is really trying to fix the whole mess.

Some people suspected that the wife did it because afterwards there wasn't an television interview that she wouldn't do and she seemed to be very upbeat and happy and was more focused on promoting herself than talking about her husband or the murder. It was just really weird, but everybody reacts in different ways to tragedy.

Swift? Sure decisive? not so much. At least not in my experience when he is facing his long time foe "an oncoming car"

Which is why I advocated the "wetwork/drone" solution. Yes it deeply disrepects Mexico soveriengty, but how sovereign can really claim to be when heavily armed groups like the cartel are able to maintain an active war for almost a decade that has left 50,000 bodies behind that you are powerless to stop?

This crap has gone on too long. We need to start shooting anyone trying to cross into our borders. Mexico's doomed, there's nothing that can be done to fix that place. short of bombing every square inch of that worthless country and rebuilding from scratch once everyone is dead.

Think about it: if Your street name is Crusher, or Mauler, people may assume you are a badass but then get their "macho" up and say "yeah I can take thim, he ain't so tough", but if you hear about a guy that's in the Game, and everybody calls him "Winnie the Pooh" you are going to be farking TERRIFIED of him, because you know, to survive the streets with a name THAT soft you have GOT to be the hardest, deadliest, scariest motherfarker ever to walk the face of the plant

Good to see that Dick Tracy villains have found new work.

Great. It'll get worse. The US will withdraw most troops back home, and reinforce Mexico in Operation Burrito Filling. Months later, political ties will be made, welcoming them as the newest state, and bigger than Texas! Canada will feel a bit threatened, so we'll invite them into a nifty Union type thing. Yes, the North American Union. Soon, the Amero currency would be issued for 'travelers'. All that Mexican rebuilding means tons of financial growth opportunities for business for several years. The NAU will thrive, Americans will be confused, but hey, good times baby! Europe might fall apart. Russia will try to expand west. China will stay off to the sidelines, but Russia will eventually make them an offer they cannot refuse. China supplying arms to Russia will be laughingly referred to Armsageddon. Fighting will mostly be missiles and naval surface warfare. Iowa class battleships would quickly be refurbished and into service, nearly ensuring our victory. But at what cost? But at what cost?
