Gdalescrboz: Mofo_Jones: I think the "no good food at McDonald's" crowd just don't want to admit they a) go to McDonald's or b) don't want to be seen at McDonald's so they can continue to pretend they're better than the rest of us.

No, there are just some Americans that actually aren't fat asses. We care about ourselves enough to not eat at McD's. We also love food enough to not eat at McD's. I appreciate good food, McDonalds is not good food. And yes, we are better than the rest of you. What you eat says a lot about you

We can only infer what you eat considering you are such a dick.

/Get off your high horse I run marathons and eat McNuggets every month or so. Chick-Fil-A nuggets and Wendy's has better nuggets, but McNuggets taste great in Hot Mustard, Barbecue Sauce or Honey. I cook food and regularly go out to restaurants. To say "McDonalds or Fast Food is below you" is stupid. That stuff is good. I get cravings for Taco Bell. Quality wise these places aren't the same as fine dining, but still really good and accessible.

I'm sure it's an abomination if you're used to actual Indian food, but that McPaneer wrap looked pretty good. Then again, a regular McDonald's hamburger looks pretty good in the publicity stills, too.

nah the thing is we get shiatty, tasteless food at mcd's in the states. I can attest to the fact that Indian McDonald's is just so much better.

McDonald's promotes un-healthy eating habits, and should be monitored. Since they can't police themselves, it's up to Washington to issue mandates.

Agreed, I can't wait til some REAL rules are laid down. Can't stand making my own decisions. It's about time someone took control of my life for me.

All I'm saying is, unless some kind of internal policing is done, nothing will ever get changed. And yes, some people do need to be saved, from themselves

Wow man. You don't get to decide what is best for someone. The only person that reserves that right is the individual. I wouldn't be opposed to the government adding incentives to fast food chains for creating healthier menu items however, but any form of punishment or mandate is outrageous.

Very good point.

When you go to a McDonald's take a look around you. You will find 300 pound slobs who can't even walk, under their own weight and they'll waddle up to the counter for their 5th Big Mac that day

Still not going to McDonald's. It's too much of a symbol of everything wrong with the world.

* An example of a successful small business, grown to be prosperous.
* Inexpensive and readily available food.
* Entry level jobs for teens.
* millions annually in donations to various charitable organizations.
* business opportunity for entrepreneurs(franchisees).

Oh you're so right. Such evil must not be allowed to endure.

H31N0US: ongbok: H31N0US: The Moroccan and Turkish looks damn tasty.

I guess I am really saying I should hit a halal cart for lunch. Or maybe Maoz.

Could you imagine the derp that would come from the right if they tried to introduce any of those here?

The derp is a constant roar. It will never stop. We might as well get some good food out of the deal.

Dude there heads would explode. I pretty sure they would claim Obama is forcing a great American company to comply with Sharia Law or some such.

McDonald's really is the shiattiest of the fast food places, though, in my opinion, obviously. I don't eat fast food burgers very often, when I do eat fast food, it's typically at places like Taco Bell or chicken joints like Zaxby's, or even a Sonny's BBQ if one is around. Unless I'm traveling and stuck in the boonies and McDonald's is the only choice off the interstate or something,, if I've got the option, I'd take Wendy's, Hardee's, Checker's, Sonic, or even Burger King over McDonald's. It goes without saying that if a place like Five Guy's is around, that would be first priority. I can't even tell you the last time I've went to a fast food burger place, though. Not to say I don't like them, I just never go. And it's not even to say McDonald's is wretchedly horrible, I just think it's lower class than other options.

WienerButt: A rep brought us chick fil a breakfast and they have the best breakfast of the fast food chains. Their eggs taste like fluffy, little clouds. Mcdonalds has that big breakfast which isn't bad, but its like 1500 calories O_o

A few Saturday Mornings a year I take all 5 kids to McDonalds for breakfast and let Mrs. Engineer sleep in. I get two big breakfasts, and feed them all. Then I let them burn off some energy and work out their immune systems by letting them play on the playplace.

McDonald's is sh*tty here in the US, and the only proof you need is to eat at McD's in an another country. The burgers and buns and overall quality in Japan is incomparable to the US. You come back to the US and it's obvious that you're getting "grade D" rock-bottom quality food over here.

You can like it, but don't pretend that it's not government-grade, sh*t-ass quality.

I doubt the images in TFA are accurate representations either.

Any Indian Farkers have experience with the McPaneer? Can you take a photo of what you get vs. what is advertised? I'm confident it looks like a limp wrist.

Dirty Ronnie's is Dirty Ronnie's... no matter where in the world you get it.

FTA: "Everytime I eat WiesMac...I want to die"

My case, I rest it.

GameSprocket: The Prosperity Burger looked pretty good. I miss the old cheddar melt they used to have once in a while.

The Prosperity burger says beef, but it looks like they use the McRib die to press it.
