The Count died last month so he doesn't count any more.

Last year, my pals on Sesame Street and I raked in 84 million dollars. Fully half of that was in merchandising alone.

We are the 1%.

Skleenar: Esprit d'escalier.

Romney knows what I mean.

He speaks French

That means "spirit the scales", similar to English's phrase "skin a cat". There's more than one way to esprit d'escalier.

Coco LaFemme: ABQGOD: I'm surprised that PBS and Sesame Workshop allowed them the rights to make that commercial.

Looks like they're asking Obama to pull the ad: Obama Ad Shows How Romney Sees Big Bird: As The "Menace To Our Economy"

FTFA: Update: In a statement Sesame Workshop had this to say about the Obama campaign's new ad:

Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.

Aw shoot. That's a shame. I hope the Obama campaign complies, secure in the knowledge that you can't put e-toothpaste back in the youtube.

Bloody William: Cyclometh: Cletus C.: Bloody William: Cletus C.: Just asking the question ignited farklib butthurt. Weird but predictable.

Keep sounding concerned. It'll totally work.

Ah, "Keep sounding concerned:" A variation of "you sound tired," and a sure-fire, last-gasp sissy swing of the weak.

You sound tired.

I'm concerned about how tired he sounds. And I'm tired of how concerned he sounds.

Also, I and other people explained why he's wrong, repeatedly, and he just keeps sounding both tired and concerned.

which makes me tired. but not the least bit concerned.

So what is this GOP talking point about paying to use Big Bird in a campaign ad again?

GOP.com is no way affiliated with the Republican party. False flagged overzealous staffer.

Too snarky. It doesn't strike the right tone. A straightforward "Mitt Romney will let Wall Street run rampant, but he'll crack down on Sesame Street" would have been more effective. This comes off kinda bratty.
