An "Eagle bar" is fighting "out of" a baby crocodile?

An "Eagle" is fighting "out of" a baby crocodile?

Just what the hell is this thread about?

There are no flying crocodiles so Darwin is full of shiat and creationism is the truth. Vote Romney!

I totally picture Cliff and Norm from Cheers having the argument over who would win.

2012-10-09 10:13:15 AM
Why the sad tag?

Pretty badass how the bird was holding the croc's mouth shut with one of it's claws.

"I think this eagle could be a lone individual who has learnt how to hunt for crocodiles. It certainly knew what it was doing."

Or the eagle could be thinking to itself, "I have no idea what the fark I'm doing." I would like to think that's more likely.

Maybe the eagle thought he had left his luggage lying around.

Is it racist to admit that I'm annoyed that English is not subby's native tongue?

I've gotten the gist of what he meant to type, but that headline is an abortion none the less.

Sad tag? For a baby croc getting eaten by an eagle?

Grow up.

"Pics or it didn't happen" has been replaced by "if it's not on video, it was probably photo-shopped" Something as earth-shattering as an eagle capturing a croc and no one has video evidence?

The story about the eagle and crocodile wasn't sad.

This, from the bottom of the page was sad, however.

Poor squirrel.

In the first picture the croc has a fish in its mouth and there's another bird that is probably in the process of having the shiat scared out of it as an eagle soars by. An interesting morning for all.

"I'd like to see a nature film where an eagle swoops down and pulls a fish out of a lake, and then maybe he's flying along, low to the ground, and the fish pulls a worm out of the ground. Now that's a documentary."

I had two beers, three beers top. You can ask any one down at the Elbow Room! I usually don't drink. I think I took some cold medicine because of this (cough, cough) cough. That messed me up.

I was just walking along, minding my own business, thinking about how much money I was going to donate to the First Responder's Association this year when, Pow! This tree pulled out right in front of me! I had to swerve a number of times before I hit it.

So, you guys don't have to call the cops, right?

You're a idiot.

As for TFA? Why 'sad'? It's 'The Circle of Life'(tm) and death comes to all.

My foodchain experience: In Oregon, five miles up from the mouth of the Rogue river- lived there for a few
months. Sooo... two foot deep riffle in the river. bout a 30 pound salmon holding still there with its back
out of the water. full-sized redtail hawk dives on it, grabs it, but couldn't get airborne with it. hawk and fish
tumble over each other about ten times, then hawk had to let it go. sure wish I had a movie of it, but digital cams
weren't available back then...

Poor little munchkin bear... but wait: -- FTFA: "The squirrel was taken to a nearby garden and officers left thinking it would survive and go on to live a rich and fulfilled life and have a family. But a neighbour reported that the bushy beast died later due to the stress of the experience."

I don't know about all that. Why would it die later from stress, and how would they know it's stress? sounds like something else happened to the poor little guy, and/or the neighbor was responsible.

Sure, I think so. Roger Daltrey's pretty buff, for an old guy.

Depends on the Eagle and the Croc. Largest Eagle ever? Haasts Eagle, 3m wingspan. Largest croc ever? Crocodylus thorbjarnarsoni, 8m long. Advantage, crocodile.

I think it would be better if the croc snapped the eagle with its tail and had a nice dinner to bring home. Crocs > Pompous stuffy birds.
