Sexy is a subjective term. Most people equate being thin and fit with being sexy and being fat as much the opposite. Despite what some large body image proponents might have to say; fat is not sexy. No matter how happy and well adjusted you may be with yourself, if you are fat you are not sexy.

Ursula wasn't a slightly overweight person. She was an obeast. She was drawn to be a big, lard-assed monster. Anyone who dresses up as her should be embarrassed if they didn't need some padding to fill the costume.

Most of the world sees our country as fat asses, and this is part of the problem. Fat people here actually complain that there aren't enough things made for fat people. Lose some damn weight.

About fifteen years ago at a local science fiction convention masquerade show, a mid-life, obsese woman brought down the house with her Ursula costume and song and dance routine. It was literally amazing, and not because of a spectacle of the grotesque. The costume was perfect and apparently she'd worked quite hard to get it that way, getting the tentacles to move properly with the routine and everything.

Surprisingly she beat the "Little Red Riding Hood Revisited", which was a 19 year old hottie in a borderline burlesque little red riding hood outfit with her own routine. This was before the current crop of re-imagined fairy tales.
