This guy is probably a "Dominion Theology" adherent. Its a heretical belief system which wants to re institute Mosaic law in a "Christian" context. Despite that fact that Christians abolished Mosaic law in the first century.


It's the same BS. They use whatever argument they see fit if it is politically expedient. One day it's
"Jesus created a new covenant, the old is superceded". The next day it's "Down with homos and unruly children, it's in the Bible!!"

Fuqua ran unopposed in the May 22 Republican primary and is running against James McLean (D) in the November 6, 2012, general election.

How batshiat insane are "Christians" that advocate the "rebellious son" language in the bible?

Well, the Talmud thinks the "rebellious son" passage in the bible is so batshiat crazy that the rabbis spend a lot of time interpreting its requirements to be so narrow that it would never actually apply in real life to anyone ever.

(basically, if you're a "son" then you're a minor, and minors aren't responsible for their own actions and can't be put to death. If you're not a minor, then you're an adult, and adults don't have to obey their parents because they're adults. so it only applies to a man-child, i.e., a Brony).

Yeah, I missed that part. So people did take him seriously at one time, that gives this some merit. Maybe FB isn't the end-all be-all thermometer for taking a candidates temperature, but it just seems that he doesn't really have popular support. Hell, my friends get more birthday wishes than this guy seems to get people excited about his campaign. 

Or maybe I just really need to believe that it isn't actually this bad yet. That this is still very fringe-y.
