Believe it or not, we don't ALL wrap our kids in bubble wrap and park them in front of the TV.

It's rather complicated. You get a hold of a spear, typically sold at a sporting goods outlet in a waterside community. This may or may not have an elastic band attached to the dull end to assist in projecting the sharp end at the intended target. Then you head to a body of water such as the Indian or Banana rivers (which are really bays but semantics), or the Atlantic ocean perhaps, and look for fish. You then spear the fish, bring them home, clean and eat them.

I did this as a pre teen. My friends did it. We wore onions on our belts, as it was the fashion.

no, no, no, no, no you must have grown up rich, what you do is you get a rambo-esque survival knife from the flea market and saw down a branch with the sawed teeth on the back then you use duct tape and electrical tape to secure the knife to the stick after you shave off the bark, you should also make a grippy handle with some twine. then you get some fish.

You know who else washed up on Cocoa Beach?

I'm in the midwest where we give our kids loaded firearms and teach them that snuffing the life out of other species is fun, but the spearfishing thing just sounds downright dangerous.
