A UK million is a US million, a UK thousand million is a US billion, and a UK billion is a US trillion.

It depends where you want to draw the line, and it's fairly arbitrary. In the strictest sense, all humans are immigrants everywhere except the Great Rift Valley. Anything after about 200,000 years ago, you have to decide what arbitrary rule you're going to apply.
