kingoomieiii: I wonder why Subby felt the need to throw "thug" in there.
bingethinker: How do you know a cop is lying? His lips are moving.
Misha80: He was probably stealing to pay for the tracking bracelet. I had one for a year when I was 18, it cost about $5500 for the year. The screwed up part is they just don't let you take it off until you have your fees all paid. $5500 may not seem like a lot, especially over a year, but when you can't find a job because you're on house arrest, it really sucks.Everyone is up in arms over the private prisons, you see very little on how community corrections, probation, drug courts, etc. are a cash machine for the county and the companies that "service" the offenders.
ThrobblefootSpectre: Um, did anyone else read past the headline? Because subby quite obviously didn't.It was a written report from Omnilink that said the device had a status of "No Communication." And Omnilink admits that the device was already a replacement for a previous failed one, and the current one needed to be checked for proper operation.
Flragnararch: KrispyKritter:recidivist .bit tinny sort of word...
baronbloodbath: Here's my solution: Break his arms. It's much harder to commit armed robbery in the future if you have two broken arms.
