Shaggy_C: People sometimes hit incorrect keys while typing, creating humorous spelling errors. This phenomenon is known as a "typo".
filter: How is it a privacy nightmare? I never post anything questionable, and have a locked down profile.
ongbok: Ok some of those are typo's and are funny, but understandable and really shouldn't be used to judge somebody's intellect. But then there is this.[s3-ec.buzzfed.com image 620x154]and this[s3-ec.buzzfed.com image 620x453]I really hope those two people never breed.
dexaline: The only bad thing about FB is my friends tagging me in photos at the bar the day before I call out from work.
qsblues: How about an article that lists the reasons why it's a bad idea to have 7 billion people on the planet, and some ideas of how to thin out the herd?
NeoCortex42: The rule of thumb should be that if you are worried about any one of your friends seeing a particular post or piece of information, don't post it. Also, never friend your boss. That should reduce Facebook complaints by about 95%.
Ecobuckeye: Isn't that what Fark does every day?
platkat: It's a great marketing tool if you're a business. Using it as a person with no chance of profit seems a little insane.
sirrerun: platkat: It's a great marketing tool if you're a business. Using it as a person with no chance of profit seems a little insane. So basically, your customers are all insane?
OhioUGrad: filter: How is it a privacy nightmare? I never post anything questionable, and have a locked down profile.Facebook still has any info you post, like, whatever, and sells that to companies......in case you've missed any news for the past like 2-3 years.
HairBolus: Ever since the days of Usenet there is the issue of "is he really that stupid" or "is he just trolling for a response".
TheOriginalEd: Facebook is a useful free service for keeping in touch with people you would otherwise not be bothered to. People need to a) stop friending everyone that asks. if you accept the friend request from that moron you will see their statuses b) stop complaining about the business sides of facebook. Sure some of the things it does is pretty unscrupulous but you know what its a free service and they need to see a profit somehow. c) stop assuming that every thing that their friends post is directed at them. THIS I think is the biggest trapping of the internet. People go online and for some self centered reason assume that every post every little tidbit that comes through is somehow directed at them. people arent throwing their status at you like bricks through a window. They're posting on their own wall and youre leering through like some psycho and jumping around on their lawn screaming just because you can see it.You. the ones complaining about facebook. Youre the obnoxious attention seekers. If you dont want to use it then shut the fark up about it.
Master Batorium: LEAVE FACEBOOK ALONE!!!

You mean, if I give them info, they have my info? No shiat?!That is my point- only give them what you want them to have. That is not a privacy issue. A privacy issue is if your ISP sells your browsing habits to third parties.
